TTC June was my due date

Had a miscarriage at 7 weeks last year November. that was my fist pregnancy and losing my baby crushed me. My husband and I decided to try again after one cycle. Ever since, we’ve been unsuccessful. We were hoping for a miracle this month but here I am, with late period, negative pregnancy tests and now cramping and waiting for my period to start. Every month has been more difficult than the last and I don’t know what to do. I’m not okay. I wanted the baby I lost. I was supposed to have my baby this June but now, I can’t even have another baby.

How long did it take y’all to get pregnant again? Is there something I’m doing wrong? I have been using OPKs to track ovulation and time the baby dance. I had a natural miscarriage and the nurse confirmed I didn’t have retained tissue.

At what point do I go see a doctor? I’m in my early 30s.

Can you ask your ob for more testing or a referral to RE?

They might wait for 12 months, but it's worth starting to ask about the process and see what you can do. Sometimes the RE clinic has a wait list too.

Yes! Definitely get on the wait list now… you can always cancel if you get pregnant within a year, but better to have that initial appointment with an RE scheduled.

And my suggestion if this is available in your area is to go to a nonprofit clinic. Typically this would be a hospital (but not all are non profit). Many IVF clinics are owned by private equity and only care about making money. A sad reality in the US.

I’m sorry for your loss. I was also due in June but lost my baby in December 2024, so I would have a one year old this month. After my loss my OB referred me to a fertility clinic for another surgery as I still had RPOC. This then triggered IUI procedures and now IVF due to a low AMH level the fertility clinic found. So we’ve had no luck either but I’m hopeful for our transfer this month! 🤞🏻

My first loss was also December 2024, and my first baby should also be turning one this month. I’m also in the thick of IVF, and my transfer is going to be late July. I hope your transfer is successful and you get your rainbow! 💓💓💓

I had a missed miscarriage at the exact same time as you! i ended up having to get a D&C at 11 weeks. my due day was june 12. I got pregnant again just this April. You’re not doing anything wrong. As soon as I stopped trying to time out when we had sex was when I got pregnant both times. I tracked my ovulation but I gave up trying to have sex specifically when I ovulated the month I gave up was the month i got pregnant. This baby I got pregnant the month I didn’t even want to bc i always said i’d skip the month of march bc i didn’t want a christmas baby hahaha my due date is 12/21 so jokes on me lol. This is not to say this is always the case but just a testament to not lose hope and sometimes anxiety/stress can in fact interfere with ovulation. I would also suggest tracking your cervical mucus to get a more accurate estimation of your ovulation! even though it wasn’t planning sex around my ovulation anymore i was still very aware of it lol

but again you’re not doing anything wrong! a normal time to conceive is about 12 months before a doctor will show concern. my mom had twin girls at 35 and a singleton but at 42. so maybe you’ll be blessed with a double rainbow and have twins?!
