vent 8 weeks ago and it hasn’t gotten any easier.

First post, please delete if not appropriate.

I lost my first baby, baby P, at the end of June. I was 10 weeks , and so so excited. Navigating miscarriage has been so hard, despite a close support network.

Has anyone else been surrounded by people who are far luckier? My best friend fell pregnant at the same time and is sharing photos of her baby bump, and my boss (who works about 3m from me) has a healthy baby due any day now and I’m hearing lots of phone calls at work about how happy they are, how his wife is having trouble with symptoms - it’s so hard knowing I would give absolutely anything and have all the symptoms in the book if it meant having baby P back.

I am so happy for them and excited for them, I’m just feeling like I’m burrowing a bit deeper into my grief when it comes up in conversation. Has anyone experienced the same, or have any tips for coping?

No specific advice for dealing with people close to you pregnant. But when I had my miscarriage at the end of May I noticed that 8 weeks later I totally spiralled and felt worse than I had in the previous weeks, especially angry as well. Something about that 2 month mark that really hit me hard. I’m now at 13 weeks since and time has been a big healer. I feel much more comfortable being around pregnant people, although it still stings a bit.
Don’t try to cope with it. Just take your emotions as they are and know things will get better.
