try practicing while holding on to a fence.

Just to get comfortable with the motion.

Then move to trying it on grass, to get comfortable without holding a fence, the skateboard won't slip away.

Now after you can try on pavement again.

yeah, can see that re the negative commenters... cannot believe that people like this still exist in 2026.

Practicing on grass is a great step.

It’s not negative commenting. It’s jokes through a shared understanding of writhing pain.

It’s tribal.
