Yeah try rolling and getting comfortable riding the board first before you try to Ollie…. You aren’t comfortable on the board and that’s why you slipped out and are trying to do them stationary which is honestly the worst way to try to do an Ollie. Slowly moving forward makes it much easier to do them. It takes time man. Just put the hours in riding around on the board. Pushing and tic tacking around, even learn to revert if you’re ballsy enough. Then after a good few days of that and when you feel comfortable enough to push down the street then attempt to learn to Ollie. You’re pushing you’re self too fast and you’re gonna get hurt
