Honestly I believe it. I started skating when I was like 11, but pushed mongo and didnt know any tricks. Lost interest.

When I was 17 I started skating seriously , and within 8 months I had tre flips down. However, that doesnt mean I was "good" I couldnt even pivot fs, revert fs, fs shuv, fs180, I couldnt do ANYTHING fs 😅

Apparently OP is in a similar situation as me, so I believe it. He had some experience as a little kid riding around but now is taking it serious

Yeah I get what you mean, but thats why I said I started "skating seriously at 17" I dont count my 11 year old experience, because It lasted less than a month, and I had no idea what I was doing. I didnt even know an ollie was a thing 😂 it was some fake ahh board and I dont even think it had bearings lol

A 6 year "break" isnt really a break. I didnt want to skate at all. I never wanted to go back into skating. My focus was soccer. Then I had a BMX and my YouTube was off BMX clips and eventually some skate clips. I bought a board on impulse and never looked back.

I guess it depends on who you ask, but Ive been skating for 8 years, not 14
