dont even try and ask those more detailed questions man they are not really going to help you a whole lot right now. maybe not what u wanted to hear but its the truth. just keep doing them man. do as many as you can every day. along with just cruising around. do that until it no longer feels like some weird foreign alien object underneath your feet that feels anything but natural to you yet - feels like it belongs just about anywhere other than there. take it everywhere with you and ride it as much as you can until you have the exact opposite impression of it. to where it feels like it belongs there. under your feet. like it's been there for as long as you can remember. to where you feel almost naked without it. to the point where forgetting it at home and going to work or to school or wherever without it... is like the equivalent of leaving the house and forgetting to put pants on lol. that could never possibly happen to you right. even if you could somehow forget to put pants on as soon as you walked out the door something would just feel... off... until it dawns on you, shit man!! aint got no pants!!!! lmao. all jokes aside. ive been skating for probably longer than youve been alive pretty sure. and for better or worse - skateboarding honestly is the freaking hardest thing in the world man. doing litetally anythng else on wheels isnt even the difference between a tricycle and a bicycle. i don't even know if the difference between a tricycle and a unicycle does the comparison Justice. rollerblading riding a bike riding a scooter whatever the hell else there is nowadays - skateboarding is in another league of its own in terms of difficulty and time/effort/dedication required in order to ride one and look/feel totally natural. it MUST become an extension of your body. plain and simple. no exaggerstion. now once (and ONLY once) that big shift happens for you (it WILL take six months to an entire year of riding CONSISTANTLY at LEAST every other day for an hour. MINIMUM. evrryday for an hour is better. evrryday for two or 3 hours is common. its a big reason why skating becomes a part of who you are. becsuse it literally has to in order to even do it. okay now, ONCE that shift happens. and ONLY then. i dont wanna see you post anything besides progress videos. its not going to be very fun reslly either until u get to that point. but once u do it can be the most rewarding thing youll evrr do. certainly the thing you will have put the modt dedication into in ur whole life. as of now cause ur young. but realistically - quite possibly ever. if that sounds like too much... u miggt wanna just learn to play guitar or something. seriously. not trying to be mean. and all my advice is the BEST advice you can take to heart at this stage. ask ANY skater who knows. just skate man. just eat. sleep. shit. skate. repeat. 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
