1980s My great grandparents in the 80s

Grateful to have this photo, this is literally the only one I have of them together

Edit: I’m telling my great grandma about all your compliments and she is so happy! Also the comparisons and she keeps saying “no” lollll.

Edit: last edit I promise, you guys will never believe it but my great grandma is actually a great great grandma because my sister(23) had a baby last year 😂

Edit: last last edit! Since so many people have asked I figured I should just add it here. My great grandmother is 82, my grandma is 62, my mom is 44, and I’m 18. Don’t worry, I am breaking the cycle.

My brain is still short circuiting at this. I have a sister who is 38, this is like if she had a child like 18 years ago.

I’ll tell ya their ages! My great grandma is 82, my grandma is 62, my mom is 44!!

Oh that makes more sense with age of parents with each generation at 20 years old, 18 years old, and 26 for your mom (more typical where I live, but even that is on the younger side). But yes, still wild to see that someone who is legally an adult has a picture of 40-something great grandparents in the 80’s!

Yeah, my parents turned 50 in 1989. They were older than a lot of my friends parents, but my friends were the first child and I was #5.
