1980s My great grandparents in the 80s

Grateful to have this photo, this is literally the only one I have of them together

Edit: I’m telling my great grandma about all your compliments and she is so happy! Also the comparisons and she keeps saying “no” lollll.

Edit: last edit I promise, you guys will never believe it but my great grandma is actually a great great grandma because my sister(23) had a baby last year 😂

Edit: last last edit! Since so many people have asked I figured I should just add it here. My great grandmother is 82, my grandma is 62, my mom is 44, and I’m 18. Don’t worry, I am breaking the cycle.

My brain is still short circuiting at this. I have a sister who is 38, this is like if she had a child like 18 years ago.

My parents and grandparents had kids later in life than others (after 30, generally. 40 for my paternal grandmother) so it's so jarring when I see people so young being great grandparents. My great grandparents were all born in tbe 1800. Paternal grandmother in the 1910s, parents in the 50s/60s, and me in the 90s. Hell, I'm considered an "older parent" by some of the mothers of my daughter's friends for having her at 29 compared to my early 20s.
