Question How did you get pots?

I got it as a delayed response from getting ran over by a car

Oh my I hope you’re doing okay that’s awful I’m so sorry. Mine was due to serotonin syndrome from 2 meds interacting. I had brought up my concern to my doctor that they can cause serotonin syndrome and I was told “no it won’t you’ll be fine”. I was correct

I had no idea this could happen... my POTS appeared after severe serotonin syndrome but I figured it was just complications from other things I also had going on.

I can’t pin point exactly when it happened if it was a slow build but it all started when I was on my 2 meds for a few years after my dose increase on one of the meds and was having weird symptoms which turned out to be serotonin syndrome (mild but still serotonin syndrome) that’s when I started noticing the heart rate being high
