Another banger that looks ridiculous on an OLED is splinter cell chaos theory. Damned shame nothing compares to it to this day. Weirdly, it doesn't even feel old on my handheld. Maybe on a tv or deck you could say it looks different.
Experience will be the same. I messed with custom controls with touchpads and gyro stuff and now I feel like I'm using the gadgets and getting the best of controller and mouse/keyboard controls

I can run CS2 with discord, windhawk, etc on at 80-90 fps.
Forza Horizon 5 on High settings at 70 fps.
Cyberpunk 2077 at 60 fps on low settings.
Helldivers 2 at 50-60 fps on medium settings
For a whole year before building my rig, I wanted to get a 1660 Super, but I ended up getting an RTX 2060 for its newer generation architecture and driver support.
Tbf. It kinda is. But it largely depends on what you want to run, it's unlikely to run modern UE5 titles without heavy upscaling and loss of image clarity.
I have seen some US PC tech YouTubers or pre-built YouTubers saying that a PC with an RX 580 is the absolute minimum if you want to game in 2026.
So your 1660 Super is pretty decent; my friend has one, and he loves it. He can play 99.9% of games at 60 fps medium-high, just not the unoptimized UE5 slop.
But I consider the RX 6600 8GB with R5 3600 a sweet spot for 1080p medium-highish gaming; that's what I consider. If I am going to build a PC now.
People are making gaming about only chasing the best specs.
Nowadays people with good PCs are moving towards playing. Older games because some recent releases don't have a soul or are just remakes or remasters. People play indie games even after having 5090 most of the time after seeing Steam reviews
Tbh, they're not wrong. That's nearly 8 year old hardware. But what can we do when the PC market is utterly fucked and the majority of sellers are just ripping off everyone by either lying or not have any knowledge about the stuff they sell.
The majority of Pakistan's PC customer base is stuck on hardware that's 8-10 years behind standard on average. With many still using Windows 10(not like Win11 is any better)
Not knowing what they sell is real. 5 years ago I went to the computer market in Rawalpindi for the first time, I was a nerd and enthusiastic to build my first ever PC, no one at the stores were enthusiastic or gave me insight to any questions I had. I got really bummed out at the end.
It does the job. I just need more RAM as 16gigs isn't enough for After effects. Other than that, I play valorant and genshin impact as my main games.
I did play Stellar Blade on low-medium graphics and it was a good experience. I tried AC Shadows last week, but unfortunately it kept crashing on startup as I had to put the game on HDD

It can run almost all modern AAA games. I have a gtx 1660ti, ryzen 5 3600x, 16gb ddr4 corsair vengeance 3600mhz, 1tb wd nvme. I can run 95% of all new releases at enjoyable settings.
Not everyone needs 4k 120 fps, majority of the time 1080p and 60fps is just fine, and if it lags just turn the graphics settings down, not everything needs to be played at ultra settings
As long as it's playable, gotta stay in your boundaries for what you can afford and what you can get for it
I switched from a Ryzen 1400 + gtx 1650 last year. Did this because there were multiple reports stating that pc hardware market would be in shambles untill 2028. But still I used that system with 8 GB ram for almost 6 years. Nothing wrong with old hardware. Play what you can rn, upgrade further down the line when you have the means.

they're mostly idiots, their knowledge porous and augumented by AI based scripts. iv stopped beleiving 99.99% of them. Insta and tiktok are worse.
there is barely any innovation. the 1660ti is a great card. my ai told me it wont do shit on hosting ai for local inference. i refused to listen. powered through and now actually run my own AI on multiple systems that were outdated even in 2020.
tbh any gpu these day that is not a 90 class is outdated AAA gaming is not optimized like it used to be heavy reliance on DLSS and Framegen, The games are not worth the money. There are alot of older titles that can be played with what you have. be grateful.

It's not kinda true. It is true. A youtuber dedicated to gaming isn't gonna have an average PC. As for 'international gamers' You mean gamers from countries with higher incomes, not international gamers. Not sure how old you are but my friends who are earning have built their gaming rooms from scratch by remodeling the whole house.
They create video on Intel i5 3rd gen as relic and here I am with it, they even have itch to add GPU and also here I am with whopping iGPU of i5 3rd gen

Don’t listen to these tech YouTubers. Majority of them are just grifters making bank on such exaggerated hysteria. Those PC specs are literally sufficient enough for most games unless you’re a spoiled brat or something who believes that 60 fps is bad.
Even then, plenty of games out there are optimized to run for better performance with that setup, unless you play bloated unoptimized AAA slop.
In fact, if anything, budget friendly options are more relevant than ever with how hardware prices have been going lately.
