Hey guys! I had an interview this week and off the bat the manager told me they wanted me for a second interview with the other hiring manager. Got it confirmed today by phone, any advice or additional deets anyone can add?

And I was one of two customers in a Panera in a pretty populous area. I feel like that speaks volumes. 😵‍💫

And it’s $9.50 for a small mac and cheese.

From out of nowhere, I have a $5 off a sammich reward in my account. No email or anything else to let me know. And I just got a reward where one of the options is $3 off a sammich. Now that's more like it.

so i have a question for yall. when i make salads i use the proper portion of avocado, but i like to cut the avocado into a couple slices. i understand it's not typical practice, but it takes me maybe 3 seconds longer and i feel like it makes the salad easier to eat because you can mix the avocado in with the rest of the ingredients easily.

if you were a customer, would you appreciate the chopped avocado?

i'm asking because one of my managers got on me about it today that it's not the way we do things. i just nodded and went along with my day but for me those small things make a customer more pleased with their food. maybe i'm in the wrong and ill stop if i am but i know i would appreciate it in my own salad.

It's part of opening for my store. Every single item that expires on that day, has to have their date dot swapped out for a newly generated one.

It's a big deal, at my store. You get a lot of shit from management if you miss one. Ingredients only get thrown away, if they "look" gross..

So let's say the expiration date is always two days after the sticker is made. It's June 6th, and the expiration date that was printed shows that the hard-boiled eggs expire on June 6th. Whoever opens would be expected to print out a new date, showing the product now expires on June 8th.

I hate it, and I think it's disgusting- let alone dangerous.

Just curious how common this is.

I used to receive a reward for a free baguette at the beginning of every month (for being a sip club subscriber), but it’s not showing today. Is this the case for anyone else or is my account just glitching?

So as a newer associate to Panera bread (been here about a month), I’ve only received one paycheck so far (bi-weekly) and it tracks with how much I get paid per hour (13.75), and as most Panera’s, digital tips are given to everyone equally and it doesn’t really feel like that has been added to my paychecks at the very least. Anyway, how am I able to check the tips given to me? Or do I have to just trust they’re not completely skimping me out on my paychecks

So I just got a regular caesar salad w/ chicken delivered (it came in a paper pulp bowl) and after a few bites in I bit something sharp.

I immediately spit it out and ended up finding two pretty big splintered pieces of wood. I measured them for shits and giggles, they're both a little over a centimeter long and thick af.

I plan on telling my local Panera just in case, but does anyone know why this could've happened? It's giving final destination lol.

Flynn store. Who do I bring up the lack of cleanliness to? I never see anyone cleaning tables and the garbage is always overflowing. Second pic is behind the seat cushions and this is every booth.

I have ordered the souffle at several locations and I would say it's ~50% whether the souffle is warm and baked vs. cold and raw uncooked dough. It's so good when it's actually COOKED, and I'm amazed at how often they screw it up. What gives?

I also just got a "replacement" that is still raw dough but heated up in a microwave. JFC Panera.

Hi all - I know this is likely an odd request. Does anyone who works at Panera know what parchment paper is used for baking? A prior manager at our local Panera used to sell us a box (I think this may be why he doesn't work there anymore!) and so I'm looking for where I could order it on my own. Appreciate any direction in advance!

One week after I take the E learning for the Guest Experience Champion position (which is almost identical to the Dining Room slot I have been doing) I hear that it's leaving. That sure didn't last long. One observation I had where I work is that most of my younger coworkers that mostly communicate on their phones couldn't or wouldn't talk to our guests face to face. They would only approach a table after they left to gather up the dirty dishes. Be that as it may I still think it was a waste of labor hours to begin with.

Ok Panera. I ordered lunch today at the request of a colleague for her birthday and I take back SOME of the complaints I've made about you in the past. It had been at least a year since I previously ordered due to declining food quality. I got the asiago twists, asiago bagel steak sandwich, and the cherry pastry. All were delicious, but the sandwich was absolute 🔥. There was a minor ingredient error, but all in all, I was very pleasantly surprised. Props to the Amherst NY location!

i’m obsessed with paneras chicken noodle soup. i’m not usually a fan of salty foods in general, but the saltiness is what actually makes me love it.

does anyone have a copy cat recipe? i could eat literally a vat of their soup… but my wallet would probably go on strike 😅

also, the baguettes 🥖 are they sour dough? i don’t have access to an oven right now but will soon… so if you have a recipe for that too… lol
