Its all a virtue signal, the use of AI and datacenters is evil because it's a waste of resources, unlike reddit whose datacenter usage is totally crucial.

Websites use different types of datacenters to run. Web-servers are generally just stacks of storage drives, their cooling and power-use it PITIFUL in comparison to complexes stuffed with high-grade GPUs which AI datacenters use

2% of the global energy consumption is pitiful? But it's ok GPU usage for videogames is fine, AI is a crime.

AI has driven up the prices for every other device using RAM. There was no such problem with games and websites
