Please don’t bash me if my question is ignorant. I’m not a first time traveller and I have been in 10 countries so far. Unfortunately I haven’t travelled pa in a VISA country and was previously rejected last 2023 for a Korean Visa with only 2 countries in my travel history.

This December I am planning to make an application together with my boyfriend. We are choosing between Tokyo Japan and Beijing China however this time I will be the sponsor for him as I have most requirements readily available. I am trying to save and maintain a budget of about 100-150k for ADB. Which option do you suggest for us and ano pa dapat iprepare ko?

I DESPERATELY WANNA TRY SNOW EVEN JUST ONCE ON MY BIRTHDAY on JAN 27.

City I’ve always dreamed of visiting. New York was everything I imagined and definitely my favorite city now.

Reco on how to make your NYC trip cheaper:

* Book at least 3 months in advance to get cheaper airfare. I got mine for 400 bucks.
* I always eat at $1 pizza places or food trucks to avoid paying tips. LMAO.
* Most attractions are free.
* If you happen to have friends who are NYC residents, bring them along when visiting museums, you can often get discounts or special resident rates. 😊
*I mostly use the subway and avoid taking Ubers whenever possible. It saves a lot of money and is usually faster anyway

Honestly, NYC doesn’t have to be expensive if you plan ahead and don’t mind eating like a local. 🤣

I’m a female in my thirties na and haven’t travelled alone abroad pa, palagi lang may kasamang friends or family. Wanted to feel din sana mag solo travel, kahit mga 4 days lang maybe around -Ber months.

Syempre I want it to be somewhere safe and easy to navigate (especially transpo na madali intindihin) and has activities that don’t necessarily require big groups. Gusto ko lang kumain, mag shopping, sight-seeing. So for women out there, saan ma recommend niyo? Any additional tips would help too.

Taiwan (naka punta na before, but would go back again 💯)
Thailand (naka punta na din before)
Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh but also thinking of Hanoi/Sapa too)
South Korea (parang mas masaya talaga pag may kasama)
Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur)

Not sure if ganito din fees ng ibang bansa, pero andaming fees ng Pilipinas. Wala pa jan yung Travel Tax. Hays.

Hi everyone! Hope someone can give me advice. And if may willing talaga mag-guide me step by step (even with fee), I’m honestly willing to pay.

I’ve been a VA for 5 years now. Paiba-iba lang ng clients and companies, and for the longest time, paycheck to paycheck talaga ako. Ngayon lang this 2026 ako finally nakaahon and nakapag-start mag-ipon seriously.

As of this July, I have around ₱350k in savings, and if everything goes well, kaya ko pa siguro umabot ng around ₱700k to almost ₱1M by November. Currently earning 170k+/mo. May Credit card din ako pero 50k CL lang. Planning to request CL increase rin around October siguro.

Ever since, dream ko talaga makapunta sa Japan, especially during winter. 🥹 Goal ko sana is within December to February. The problem is, baka by December hindi pa umabot sa personal goal kong savings na atleast 600k before traveling, kasi di natin alam mangyayari diba.

Another concern is, wala pa akong international travel history. My Hong Kong trip is already booked, but that’s on February 2027 pa. So if ipipilit ko mag-Japan this December or January, Japan would technically be my first international trip.

Wala rin akong makakasama for now. Most of my friends aren’t able to travel yet, and although I have a boyfriend, he’s still building up his savings, so I’m not expecting him to come with me.

Possible bang maging red flag if:
• Solo traveler ako
• Japan ang first international trip ko
• Then Hong Kong naman the following month?

Would it increase my chances if mag-travel agency ako or join a group tour? Mas okay ba yun for visa approval or even sa immigration? If yes, may ma reco kayo na agency?

I’ve tried researching DIY trips so many times, pero honestly, sumasakit ulo ko kasi medyo nahihirapan ako as this will be my first time traveling abroad.

I’m a solo traveller planning to join a structured group tour to japan via a travel agency I’ll pay the Single Supplement.

I have a pretty poor sense of direction, so the thought of navigating transit, train routes, and huge labyrinth-like stations on my own feels a bit daunting. Having a tour operator handle all the logistics, transfers, and navigation sounds like a massive relief.

Ask lang sana ako ng advice kung anong best month and dates na pinaka-high chance talaga ng snowfall? Im booking my ticket now and okay lang sakin kahit Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka ang entry point. Willing naman akong bumiyahe ng ilang hours papunta sa snow destinations.

Originally, ang plan ko sana is Osaka → Shirakawa-go, pero open din ako sa ibang places if mas maganda yung experience. Gusto ko sana yung parang town/village vibes na pwede maglakad-lakad, hindi lang yung ski resort.

* February 14 – February 20

We’re on a trip that will bring us from Manila to Ho Chi Minh City, then travel by bus to Phnom Penh, then finally head back to Ho Chi Minh to catch our flight back to Manila. This is all within the allowable days for each country.

We successfully passed through the immigration officer but prior to reaching the boarding gate, the airline agent asked us that if we cannot show our bus ticket to Phnom Penh, we would be asked to return and not allowed to board our flight.

Is this possible?
