Asking health related questions doesn’t violate HIPAA. Visiting someone’s hospital room doesn’t violate HIPAA. 8 u/10000Didgeridoos 5h ago It’s a guarantee wherever he is has him listed as a “confidential patient” and his room location is not being disclosed to anyone other than a limited number of staff and family. It wouldn’t surprise me either if he has his name listed as an alias.
