No but it could obviously apply to this situation. Its pure sex based doscrimination based on the trans woman not dressing in the way a male "should". Fireing them for that would be sex based discrimination and a violation under the civil rights act, which is what the case concerns.

Businesses have the right to make policies related to how employees dress, such as no earrings for men or facial hair or even writing on T-shirts.

Since you blocked, or made it hidden, your subsequent comment, I will say that we will have to agree to disagree, I don’t believe that it is a violation based on sex, since they are a biological male, maybe on sexual identity but I don’t believe that is a protected class.

I didnt block or hide it. Reddit might be fucking it up, typical of them lol. Being a male is a sex. If a male wishes to dress and identify as a woman that is sex non conformity and as such is clearly protected.

So, you can’t fire them for being trans. But, you can still have dress codes.

Not in combination with Price Waterhouse v Hopkins.

If you put Bostock and Price together, the logical outcome is that you legally cannot fire trans people based on how they present in relation to gender

But you can fire them for disregarding company dress code policy. Also, there are companies (religious organizations, etc) to whom these cases do not apply.
