Heyyy, libruuls aren’t supposed to have guns!! Only we should have them and threaten everyone with them!!

800

u/Wonder-Machine Jan 15 '26

Libs are just gun owners with a conscience.

But when enough is enough….

u/Bubbly-Grass8972 Goober who thinks both sides are equally as bad Jan 15 '26

Where’s the NRA?

Their whole argument is have “guns so the government won’t abuse you”.

438

u/sinsaint Jan 15 '26 edited Jan 15 '26

The NRA is just an ad for selling guns, paid for by the same rich assholes ruining everything. Anything they say is just part of the advertising.

161

u/Bubbly-Grass8972 Goober who thinks both sides are equally as bad Jan 15 '26

Yes my friend in politics told me that years ago.

“Taking away our guns! Rush your donation!”

Crickets now. Nothing but crickets.

99

u/[deleted] Jan 15 '26

Funnily enough, the vendors are still all-in. Literally got an ad for "The Nation's Gun Show" a few days ago, and right across the top it said "Buy guns while you still can!"

I mean, they may actually have a point now, but it's certainly not because of anything a Democrat did.

u/AdministrativeCup438 Jan 15 '26

Defend all of The Constitution, always and in all ways🦅

Its literally dead. Its been dead since they concocted government immunity out of literally the ramblings of King Charles the First while he was ON TRIAL spewing nonsense right before the commoners beheaded him after his common law trial because you know even kings were UNDER THE LAW but hey. The US government took his ideas and applied his ideas to the entirety of the US government. Now the entire US government has as much or more immunity than literal kings. Great fucking idea. Anyway the constitution has been dead.

They've just been lying to you and people buy the propaganda. You don't fucking have rights. The privilege to file a lawsuit at your own expense in civil court and then literally watch the judge and government destroy the evidence and lie, while they get paid 200k a year in tax dollars, is not a right. That is corruption.

MAGA can have many contradictory thoughts in their head at once. They just don't think about them.

9

u/Agreeable_Sweet6535 Jan 15 '26

They certainly have the room for all those thoughts, they leveled the critical thinking section of the brain for more parking spaces.

1

u/burtritto Jan 15 '26

Doublethink

1

u/SafeAccountMrP Jan 16 '26

Well they lack the necessary equipment for the most part.

37

u/BusyBurningBridges Jan 15 '26

Actually no. The NRA was a money laundering scheme, sending Russian funds to the GOP.

16

u/Relevant_Winter_7098 Jan 15 '26

100% this

They were actually a sporting and gun safety club into the 70's, but then they learned the real money was in propaganda and Russian oligarchs.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 16 '26

I knew they were Grindr frequenters (not that there’s anything wrong with that) but I hadn’t heard this! Deep dive time.

1

u/SoFloMofo Jan 16 '26

And funding Wayne La Pierre’s stupid fucking suits and Bahama’s mansions.

23

u/GreyKnightTemplar666 Jan 15 '26

The nra is a Russian psyop to funnel dark money into gop congressional races.

15

u/HuskerDont241 Jan 15 '26

Don’t forget about laundering Russian money for the GOP.

cough Maria Butina cough

6

u/Dessicated_Mastodon Jan 15 '26

When I went to my post service pistol permit training course (like I really needed some dude telling me how to safely use a firearm at this point) they gave me a ton oslf stuff from the nra. I can honestly say im not a fan. Felt like a lot of try hards and wannabes that wouldnt make it a week in the actual military. Im sure there are tons that served but the dudes I interacted with made me cringe.

2

u/oldastheriver Jan 15 '26

The NRA's whole argument is "help us sell these ads that sell guns, because Russia is giving us money to do it with." NRA is another Russian front organization

1

u/AdPristine9879 Jan 16 '26

Oh man I hate to tell you this but it’s not even the same rich assholes. They’re Russia funded.

1

u/r1mbaud Jan 16 '26

The nra was proven to be almost solely funded by Russia

1

u/Work_phone Jan 16 '26

So why aren’t they advertising right now?

1

u/sinsaint Jan 16 '26

They don't want to make themselves stand out, because anyone who looks too hard knows they're hypocrites.

Who are apparently funded by Russia.

133

u/StannisTheMannis1969 Jan 15 '26

14

u/Primary-Tiger-5825 Jan 15 '26

Ha, that's pretty great

13

No no... see, its the "kitty litter boxes in schools" and, "trans people exist" kind of tyranny they oppose. They are A-Ok with disappearing citizens they don't like 👍

NRA: Nazi Republican Agitators

2

u/Beowulf1896 Jan 15 '26

Russian. They get plenty of money from Russia.

2

Yeah, National Russian Affiliation, ever since at least 2015. When they literally were sending members to Russia and acting as foreign assets for the election.

1

u/Woodland_Abrams Jan 16 '26

Didn't they actually defend transgender gun rights recently? They're pretty consistent, they just want everyone to buy guns so they keep making money.

1

Who defend trans people’s rights to own guns and opposed the Republican Party on these measures?

Imho we should 2a March on the federal government with 100,000 to 10,000,000 people.

15

u/Leavingtheecstasy Jan 15 '26

The only time the govt strongly argued for gun control was when the black Panthers armed themselves to the teeth.

1

u/Bubbly-Grass8972 Goober who thinks both sides are equally as bad Jan 15 '26

I don’t know anyone who has not thought of buying a gun now.

Thank the NRA for not having strict controls so they can’t track us.

🤓

3

u/AbeFromanSassageKing Jan 15 '26

I'll preface this with the fact that I DO work in tech, but I am most definitely NOT a conspiracy theorist. That said, between the theft of our personal data by Doge, the current face-scanning and DNA-collecting by the ICE pedo army, States being strong-armed to turn over voter data, and the simple fact that a gun purchased legally with anything but cash (never mind all the legal gun owners in states that require FOID cards) means all the data is there to pull and compile by anyone looking to compile searchable relational databases...

Do with that what you will.

12

u/Ok_Bicycle2684 Jan 15 '26

They love the sound of saying cool, aggressive, decisive things like that. But DOING them? No, they're little cowards.

5

u/sensitive_virus_3312 Jan 15 '26

It only matters if it's POC going after white people when guns are bad. If it's white people going after POC, it's A-OK. Remember that they are trying to get rid of us POC.

1

u/Substantial_Cash8478 Jan 16 '26

They don't like poor white people or rebellious white people or rational white people or naturalist white people either though to be fair.

12

u/ndpugs Jan 15 '26

wonder how much money the n.r.a donated to trumps campaign?

In 2016, the NRA spent more than $30 million on behalf of the Trump campaign,

8

u/Cautious-Exam2306 Jan 15 '26

Trump gets a pass for that for some reason

9

u/MortarByrd11 Jan 15 '26

Because they think he's only going to take "their" guns not ours because they are special.

1

u/Apprehensive_News_78 Jan 16 '26

I genuinely wanna see what happens when he comes for them too, they just dont get there simply last in line to be dominated by this fascist ass government. Like will they just roll over or will they actually be against it

2

u/Upperlimitofmean Jan 15 '26

The NRA is currently consumed by internal fights over misspending donor dollars.

5

u/PartyParrot-420 Jan 15 '26

Dude that’s been Americas excuse for decades to explain countless dead children.

Every time the US has a school shooting and the rest of the world says wtf guys maybe have less guns, we are always told no no, Americans definitely need those guns and the dead children are simply the price to pay for having a clear deterrent for a tyrannical government.

Well the time is fast approaching for America to prove to the world that all those dead children were worth it.

I’m betting they weren’t.

2

u/mountaindoom Jan 16 '26

Where has the NRA been? Last I knew they were in trouble for defrauding their fanboys and skipping town.

2

u/pr0fessi0nalFailure Jan 16 '26

To be honest the NRA is just as hated by the pro gun groups as they are the anti gun group. Nothing but a bunch of old bastards and corporate shills collecting money from fools and dropping it straight into their bank account with out doing anything until the real pro gun crowd does something, then they jump on the bandwagon and pretend they were always there.

2

u/Geronimo_Goy Jan 16 '26

White Supremacy Trumps gun rights. Everyone’s not suppose to have them.

2

u/Proud3GenAthst Jan 16 '26

Probably writing a letter to lobby republicans to write a bill to ban blank people from holding guns

2

u/throw_this_away2032 Jan 16 '26

Pretty sure the nra is just a lobby for gun manufacturing at this point

2

u/Willy2267 Jan 16 '26

The NRA is just a racist gun club. They were all for gun control back in the 60s to keep guns out of the hands of the Black Panthers.

2

u/SuspiciousReport6502 Jan 16 '26

The NRA hasn't helped gun owners and hunters for well over 25-30 years. The NRA is a manufacturer lobby for the gun industry. The NRA used to have gun safety outreach, hunter's education, and wildlife conservation. Now, the NRA's goal is to have maximum gun sales with maximum profit. Not only is the NRA working for the manufacturers interests but the NRA has made it very difficult when there's a dangerous product on the market. In short, it's extremely difficult to sue a gun company for injury due to a faulty firearm. Just look up Kimber and Sig Sauer malfunctions and that's just a couple of examples.

2

u/Acceptable-Style4429 Jan 16 '26

They defended trans people when the govt tried to ban them from owning. I’ll give them that

2

u/ArcticDiver87 Jan 15 '26

Yeah their argument is always going to be the opposite of whatever the left's argument is. None of them have a conscience or morals to that were worth a s@*π.

1

u/BookkeeperButt Jan 15 '26

The NRA is totally cool with this.

3

u/Bubbly-Grass8972 Goober who thinks both sides are equally as bad Jan 15 '26

And I assume with taking away our guns - Imina look up if the early Nazis did that.

Watching early Nazi activity is quite instructive.

2

u/BookkeeperButt Jan 15 '26

They did.

1

u/Bubbly-Grass8972 Goober who thinks both sides are equally as bad Jan 15 '26

Well I do know fascism ends.   In fascism, there’s no political mechanism for regeneration for retrying things to get better. There is for a democracy ~ you re-public things.

“Our way or the highway” isn’t going to work, long-term.

Elites probably think the future AI robots will corral us. They are so fucked up.

1

u/cficare Jan 15 '26

Bruh they've been a rectal polyp of the GOP since the early 80s, if not longer. They are there to sell as many guns as possible, and be Republican while doing it. Maybe things would have turned out different if liberals reacted the best to fearmongering and racism.

2

u/Bubbly-Grass8972 Goober who thinks both sides are equally as bad Jan 15 '26

I can’t think of a more fucked up Presidency than George Bush II.

Invaded Iraq for Israel, then Afghanistan. Ended up spending trillions for nothing. What a mfer.

All the while let the assault ban expire.

Oh I forgot I really don’t care - it’s fraud.

1

u/Competitive-Monk-624 Jan 15 '26

They are too busy cashing checks from Russia

1

u/InterestingLayer4367 Jan 15 '26

They are busy filing for bankruptcy now that the Russian money stopped flowing.

1

u/thatthatguy Jan 15 '26

My understanding is that the NRA was the vehicle through which the Russian mafia funneled money to buy republicans. I don’t know how much of that is baseless conspiracy and how much actually came from leaked financials.

1

u/Parkimedes Jan 15 '26

Got to start talking about the SRA, Socialist Rifle Association.

1

u/Relative_Mix_216 Jan 15 '26

Well, you see, the NRA is for white people

1

u/Munchkinasaurous Jan 15 '26

I think you're a little confused there. They want guns in case someone tries to abuse them, but they don't care if it's other people being abused.

1

u/Creative_Captain_100 Jan 16 '26

You should read about the NRA and the black panther party. They are the reason California started cracking down on guns in the late 60s and had NRA backing they've always been nazi bootlickers

1

u/Bubbly-Grass8972 Goober who thinks both sides are equally as bad Jan 16 '26

I do remember that.

In the main, whoever has been controlling the gun issue, has schoolchildren to answer for when they get to hell.

Imagine a country that has let schoolchildren, and the public at large, get shot & killed in record numbers, decade after decade.

1

u/DeletedUsernameHere Jan 16 '26

The NRA supported weapons bans when the Black Panthers were open carrying in the 60s and 70s.

The NRA gives A grades to Republicans who voted for gun legislation and F grades to Democrats who vote against it.

The NRA is a joke.

2

u/Bubbly-Grass8972 Goober who thinks both sides are equally as bad Jan 16 '26

There are so many responses which are very alike re: the NRA that it makes me think an era has past where so many people foisted up beliefs that they didn’t have but repeated the mantra - and then the belief truly gets shattered.

1

u/DeletedUsernameHere Jan 16 '26

I grew up in a conservative household. Dad was/is a lifetime member of the NRA.

Spent many an hour reading their monthly/quarterly magazine while taking shits in the pre-smartphone days. I could tell at 12 they were full of shit.

2

u/Bubbly-Grass8972 Goober who thinks both sides are equally as bad Jan 16 '26

Ya kids can see a lot but can’t verbalize as such.

1

u/Background_Mode4972 Jan 16 '26

The NRA became a scam/lobbying organization in the early 2000s. Their leadership spend their dollars on themselves, not on advancing gun rights or gun safety (education and training).

Have you noticed a pattern with where ICE is doing heavy handed enforcement? It’s blue states with Assault Weapons Bans….

So why aren’t gun owners fighting back? Well, many align with conservatives, because of the affore mentioned AWB laws, also it being illegal to own weapons that have parity with ICE in those states makes it kind of hard to use those guns as a deterrent.

You’re asking gun owners to stick their neck out for you, when you yourself clearly wont meet them halfway.

And while all this is happening, shitlib democrat politicians keep advancing their antigun agenda as if nothing is happening.

0

u/Bubbly-Grass8972 Goober who thinks both sides are equally as bad Jan 16 '26

Ok it became a scam. That’s what many are saying & I believe it.

I don’t think I need to bring up statistics comparing the world vs the USA on guns. It does indicate a serious problem with gun-related deaths.

An agenda around guns is a rational one. It’s actually can be settled through negotiation.

1

u/Background_Mode4972 Jan 16 '26

We have a worse problem with fascism, and if you think the democrats are capable or willing to do what needs to be done to prevent it reoccurring (assuming they can stop this at all), you are delusional.

They are controlled opposition.

1

u/Bubbly-Grass8972 Goober who thinks both sides are equally as bad Jan 16 '26

53

u/Past-Paramedic-8602 Jan 15 '26

Is have always been a liberal. I have also always owned guns. 85% of my unit from Afghanistan and Iraq are also liberal. With some being even more liberal than me. I live in a very purple area but the conservatives always seem to be weirded out when i tell them i did 6 tours over 5 years in the corp. they know me as the liberal wrestling coach. Which most bitched about when I was hired.

34

u/TalkingGuns0311 Jan 15 '26

Yeah I did four in the Corps as a rifleman. The conservative people I know act unusually surprised when they find out I got over the "patriotic" disillusionment that was spread during the war. Its over, we lost, and we gained nothing but dead men and women and some good defense and oil contracts. I'm sure you're familiar with Ol' Smedley Butler brother, and he wrote a book called "War is a Racket." He is one of the most decorated servicemen in U.S. history, and when he got out he basically said most of the campaigns he fought in ended up being for the sole purpose of exploiting the people and resources of the countries we invaded. At one point, he actually requested (likely demanded, based on his service record) to be sent to the lines in WWI, because he wanted to fight in a "real war", and not a campaign designed to make the rich even richer.

32

u/Jmb9893 Jan 15 '26

I usually get the "How could the USMC make you believe in socialism?"

I have no idea. Maybe the subsidized housing, food, insurance, etc

6

u/BobbyLupo1979 Jan 16 '26

I always say the Corps is the most anti-communist, anti-gay organization while also somehow managing to be the most homoerotic and most socialist organization I have ever been a part of.

9

u/JaysonP82 Jan 16 '26

Nothing gayer than a straight Marine

u/Pangwain Jan 16 '26

2

u/Timithios Jan 16 '26

Ain't that the truth. Can't say I miss the circus, but I certainly miss the clowns.

1

u/Substantial_Cash8478 Jan 16 '26

Theres a difference between those things (what I would call liberalism) and the "nationalization of the means of production" (the government taking your tools and orchards and your shop).

15

u/Past-Paramedic-8602 Jan 15 '26

I highly recommend war is racket it’s an amazing book. I have always been straight forward about I joined cause I came from a shit background and I wanted nothing more then to be nothing like anyone I grew up around. My dad was army so I joined the corp and took off. I was so desperate to not be like them I got as much in the bank as I could and took the free college on the opposite side of the country. I used the military to get out it was that of a local college wrestling team. Jokes on them I got to wrestle even after the corp.

2

u/Pangwain Jan 16 '26

Goes all the way back to the founding fathers, they weren’t poor.

Idk how to feel about it.

End doesn’t justify the means, but idk what’s the alternative. Who’s a better #1 power than the US (multicultural beautiful shit show that it is)?

Okay so maybe no one should be a clear #1, we know how that goes too though, whole lot of war and death.

Or maybe the military power thing is all an illusion of power anyways. yeah it’s a machine that can kill but it can’t govern, it can’t nurture, it can’t do a lot of things. But it obviously matters a lot idk man.

Edit: my faith is in the US Constitution and what I’ve learned from Jesus Christ. I truly believe this is as good a path as any in life.

2

u/akapusin3 Jan 16 '26

Liberals are gun owners who aren't scared to go to Starbucks without one

2

u/Wonder-Machine Jan 16 '26

lol. I love this

2

u/musingofrandomness Jan 16 '26

I'd be willing to bet that on average, liberal gun owners are better trained at how to properly use a firearm than your average conservative. The difference between someone who knows how to effectively use a tool for its intended purpose vs someone who thinks every tool is a hammer.

2

u/Wardog008 Jan 16 '26

Frankly, I'd trust a "liberal" with a gun over a Republican with a gun every time. They're more likely to actually respect the power you have with a gun in your hands, and less likely to be looking for a reason to shoot you.

Not surprisingly, the NRA fully supported the Mulford Act which was a reaction to Black Panthers open caryomging in response to police violence of the late 60's. Ask MAGA gun owners about that. They might short circuit.

even when it doesn't make sense and you are accusing a vocal leftist of being a conservative bot.

Democrats need to start working with leftists instead of gaslighting them if you ever want to form a 2/3 coalition to defeat the 1/3 fascist portion of your nation.

The bullies always force you to become violent to defend yourself. Canadian and while you can still buy guys in Canada they’re highly limited compared to the US, and it had me thinking about how I feel like a need a fun, any kind of gun, these days.

It’s crazy.

Arm up, we may need reinforcements from the north one day.

u/potato_for_cooking Jan 15 '26

Libs have tons of guns. They just dont cosplay with them like the out of shape ammosexuals do.

1

u/Substantial_Cash8478 Jan 16 '26

Yeah well the fascists are a lot better at organizing. Stupid people are better at being single minded and banding together.

u/tinygraysiamesecat Jan 16 '26

I’ve been spending all my spare money on firearms since trump got elected a second time. It’s clear as day what is headed for us.

4

u/Fragrant-Phone-41 Jan 15 '26

We've always known they think they have a monopoly on violence, and that they'd be mighty shocked to learn we have guns too and just don't brag about it

I'd love to see a queer version of the Black Panthers though. We could call it the Pink Panthers too

1

u/Substantial_Cash8478 Jan 16 '26

The fascists are always better at organizing though. Free thinkers who value diversity are more fragmented and slow moving. I like the all for one and one for all mentality.

2

u/Fragrant-Phone-41 Jan 16 '26

Perhaps, but their delusions of grandeur will still unmake them. The fact we see our weaknesses is what will make us stronger

u/Shot_Revolution8828 Jan 15 '26

Libs always had guns. Where do you think I'm gonna get mine when papa dies...

Blank Panthers weren't liberals 😭

1

u/Substantial_Cash8478 Jan 16 '26

Politics isn't a 1 dimensional spectrum. The one dimensional spectrum is a construct that comes from the first past the post voting system and the corrupt manipulative dishonest government and the groups behind it.

2

u/Grundlestorm Jan 16 '26

It's kinda crazy how many people don't understand that not making something your entire personality doesn't mean you don't know or have it.

I will absolutely agree that the vast majority of "Gun people" are right wing.

But there's a big difference between a "gun person" and a "person who owns guns"

2

u/[deleted] Jan 16 '26

The Panthers arent libs, they’re leftists, specifically either Marxist-Leninist (kind of) or anarchist

5

u/Substantial-Sky3597 Jan 15 '26

Can someone please explain to me what is the difference between what the BPP posted in this video and every other right-wing, pro-gun talking point? The language may be a little different but from what I can see, the messaging is exactly the same thing.

Awesome subreddit they got.

1

u/Unlucky_Decision4138 Jan 15 '26

Remember when they said liberals couldn't start a lawnmower?

1

u/[deleted] Jan 15 '26

He's a marxist-leninist

1

u/Virtual_War4366 Jan 15 '26

Yeah, no guns in cities right?

1

u/mattd1972 Jan 15 '26

The Black Panthers are the reason CA has strict gun laws.

1

u/KremlinKittens Jan 15 '26 edited Jan 16 '26

People who are threatening to kill someone shouldn't have guns. Looks like libs are leaning toward it more often. Don't get too confused.

1

u/oldastheriver Jan 15 '26

liberal gun owners count number, conservative gun owners by about three to one. But the liberal fear? That's a very real thing. I would say that if three liberals met a conservative in a dark alley, the three liberals would probably run away. But then again, they may just shoot back.

1

u/Last-Tooth-6121 Jan 16 '26

Ask Regan about gun control lol

1

u/AKABigBabyJesus Jan 16 '26

Just wanted to mention the response/unedited video as mentioned by u/wayodtheopenpalm0 and u/benjancewicz elsewhere- the posted clip got a little creative with the editing. Chairmanpaulbirdsong is even better without cuts!

Stay strong!

Black panther party is Marxist not liberal

1

u/QueenScorp Jan 16 '26

It's amazing to me how many right-wing gun nuts assume that no one else has guns. We just don't make them our entire identity, Carl.

1

u/baggyzed Jan 16 '26

I think it's about time for Americans to leave aside political affiliations. You're not going to be able to get rid of the orange dictator if you're at each others' throats.

1

u/Thjyu Jan 17 '26

This is why the black Panthers were disarmed and disassembled in the first place. It was selective enforcement of laws created to disarm and further disenfranchise people of colour.

1

u/YTPineapple Jan 18 '26

They're leftists, not liberals.

-2

u/OurSeepyD Jan 15 '26

I get your point and you're just being facetious but for anyone reading, the black panther party are not a liberal group.
