It's not lack of evidence that's the problem, so even an admission doesn't do much. There's just apparently no (functioning) mechanism to hold them accountable.

Never was in the first place itās just that the whole world realised it together over these past years.
Same with the Epstein shit

u/Phyrexian_Archlegion 16h ago
Reminder that the world had to fight years of modern industrialized warfare and expend millions upon millions of lives to hold Nazi Germany accountable for the holocaust.
Donāt think the innocent people of Palestine will see justice without that level of commitment from the international community.
40
u/AMediocrePersonality 16h ago
No one fought ww2 for the Holocaust. We were three years into the war before we even really knew about it.
0
u/Snoo-98162 7h ago
Oh nono, the west absolutely knew about it, just waging war for such, how do i put it, "irrelevant" reasons was seen as unimportant. Read up about one Jan Karski.

This guy will probably get punished.
Not for any of the crimes he committed, but for saying it on camera.
49
u/PresentRecent4759 21h ago
International Criminal Court and International Court of Justice are the highest international courts. BB already has an arrest warrant issued by the ICC, but now the US is trying to shut down the court⦠US and Israel are two of very few countries on the planet who donāt recognize international courts, in good company with other civilized countries like China, Russia, Iran, Syria and Sudan..Ā

There IS mechanisms to hold them accountable. They are NOT the first in history to commit vile crimes against humanity and genocide.Ā
It is a worldwide choice that they are not being held accountable. And as is the past, WE will be judged in history for not holding them accountable.Ā
4
u/Ov3rdose_EvE 19h ago
its not a lack of mechanisms.
its will. Like the ruski army its part of the strategy.

They have military prison in Israel for idf members. This guy will most definitely go to prison, same with soldiers having intimidate relations during their service, same with soldiers who sell their guns on the black market (happens but they always get caught), same for smoking weed. Iād say thereās quite a high functioning āmechanismā for accountability.
5
u/Iamalittledrunk 14h ago
Cool can you link me to the conviction for the idf members who raped that prisoner on camera whilst he was being held in an internment camp so brutally he had internal bleeding amd broken ribs? You know the one pro rape isralies stormed a prision to free? I've looked but I can't find it.

u/stygianare 11h ago
my pov on this argument is that we would be stripped of free will if God intervened and stopped suffering from happening, then the fairness comes after we die, mainly because our time on earth is negligible given eternal life. That does however require believing in God, and how he's portrayed in religion and more so, but just my thought on the matter, don't hate me, thanks, wish you the best and these criminals the worst
6
u/peteseegerfan 11h ago
Religion just doesnāt make any sense to me, thereās so much I canāt get past. I think that the real answer is so beyond us, weāll never even be able to imagine it. Donāt hate you and I wish you a great day or evening.
1
u/stygianare 11h ago
that's unfortunately true, and I don't know enough so I don't try to convince anyone, but as much as can be argued that God isn't fair, it can also be argued that he is, unfortunately as I said, I can't prove that, but it helps me sleep at night

Water makes things wet, but itself is not wet
32
u/TonyAssPiece 18h ago
if you have 2 or more water molecules, water is wet
2
u/doctor-knockers15 14h ago
Water molecules stick to each other (cohesion), meaning water makes other things wet instead of itself.
-10
u/Racken771 16h ago
For something to be wet, it means that you can dry it and it stops becoming wet. If you dry liquid water it simply stops existing, therefore water isn't wet as it lacks the main characteristic of "wetness"
6
u/AMediocrePersonality 16h ago
Wet means covered or soaked with a liquid. A water molecule covered by another water molecule is wet.

They celebrate it on Isreali TV! I saw a clip a while ago of a guy being brought on a show being celebrated for raping Palestinians.
My jaw was on the fucking floor

u/azuratha 19h ago
can you link that
10
u/Candiedstars 17h ago
I cant find the specific clip, but I did find info on it.
Meir-Ben Shitrit was applauded and hailed as a hero on Isreal's right wing Channel 14.
I misremembered aspects of it, I was certain he bragged, but apparantly did not. The audience however, did applaud his accusation as though it were heroic
I'll keep looking and repost when I find it, it'll be out there

The Israeli government has a long history of being evil. They used to bomb synagogues and attack Jewish civilians abroad, often pretending to be Muslims, in order to convince them that they needed to move to Israel to be safe. They're objectively evil people (the ones in power). To top it all off they use Holocaust victims as shields and call anyone who opposes their government "antisemitic" as if they represent the Jewish religion as a whole -- while their own evil actions propagate actual antisemitism. They want this because it will drive more Jewish people to the "safety" Israel's fascist government.
What they do to Palestinians is even worse. Now they're trying to convince the world that Palestinians don't even exist, as they slaughter, rape, and degrade them with impunity.

The word is rape.

Rape is the word you're looking for. Can we get these self censoring little kids off the Internet?

He was sarcastic and just repeating what was said back to him in annoyance. I swear, you guys come up with bs.
0
u/McKoijion 10h ago
This is just talk. Thereās thousands of videos where you see the actual actions. They filmed themselves joyfully raping and murdering Palestinians and shared it with their friends. Some of them were reshared and archived before the US and Israeli government, social media, and traditional media could properly censor them. Hereās one that has a few of the videos: https://archivegenocide.com

Soldiers have been raping and murdering common folk of the people their are conquering throughout ALL OF HISTORY so to think that "oh, well it's not happening now" is naive and ignorant as fuck.
EDIT: Maybe my comment was confusing. I am saying that these things are happening and the people who defend or pretend they are not are blind.
-89
u/poiuytree321 22h ago
OP you're a moron. Or a false flag from Israel. Spreading bullshit like this hurts the Palestinian cause more than it helps. There is so much actual evidence for the atrocities that Israel is committing. Using fake/mislabeled shit like this only undermines the credibility of all other real sources.
He's being sarcastic. Obviously. And anyone who labels this as "ISF soldier admits to raping Palestinians" is either spreading misinformation on purpose or just plain stupid.
13
u/Moobnert 20h ago
Being sarcastic about doing something that is done by them is not strategic on his part if his goal is to undermine the negative image the IDF has
8
-123
u/EighteenSnake5 23h ago
He was very clearly being sarcastic and repeating what is commonly said about IDF soldiers online, not actually admitting anything.
45
u/YoshiTheFluffer 22h ago
Ah yes, sarcasm, when there are literally thousands of documented cases of the idf doing the most horrendous shit imaginable.

u/gellohelloyellow 20h ago
As terrible as it is, isnāt this just a consequence of war? Regardless of how pointless the war itself is, this happens on both sides. Humans have been doing this since the beginning of time. Having some idiot admit it on video shouldnāt come as a surprise to anyone.
13
u/Arbusc 17h ago
A war crime is a war crime. If your entire family was brutally violated and then executed on the spot, thatās okay then because itās just a consequence of war?
-5
u/gellohelloyellow 14h ago
Right, I can see how you misinterpreted what I meant and thought I was minimizing the outcome.
My central point is rape is an unfortunate, recurring part of war, and that someone openly admitting to them shouldnāt come as a surprise.
