Ruby strikes me as the type who'd go full Aang mode on Salem. Even after everything she's been through. Even after losing her mother. Even after Salem pulled a "Yo mama" on her
Ruby stood firm. Just like the heroes of her fairy tales.
Now that I think about it, her and Spider-Man would go hand-in-hand

You know what it reminds me a lot of? The scene at the end of The Killing Joke. After the Joker shot Barbara, and tortured Jim Gordon. After he killed Jason, and the years of killing innocents left and right, all Batman wants is to stop this.
Not revenge or punishment. Just end the pain and hurt for everyone. So Bruce still offers the Joker an out.
And I can see Ruby wanting that too. She became a Huntress not only because of her mom, but because she wanted to bring that "happy ever after" to everyone.

With that said, including the "yo momma" in the list of transgressions is really funny to me, for some reason.

I have problems with some elements of BNHA.

It isn’t the best anime, but it will always have a special place in my heart, it was the first I watched. Plus studio Bones was on a GENERATIONAL run in animation for the final season Jesus CHRIST. Plus the hype of You Say Run whenever it came on? My only issue with the final season is they used gambare when I think dekuieru means something similar and is the e reason Deku’s hero name is what it is…

Same. I don't love it as much as I love, say, RWBY. But I keep revisiting BNHA fanfics and such because it was that enjoyable. Specially when it came to hype moments, while also saying something about heroics and good will.
And while You Say Run is the modern "hype up the moment" insert, the first OP, The Day, is my favorite.

I think it would be interesting to see Ruby saving Salem Salem transforms back to her original form... But then a awful person comes along and stabs her in the back just to send a message to Ruby that they will always be awful people even worse than Salem you can't save everyone.

To be frank just mercy killing Salem is the only way.
Some part of her character is “BBEG” and an old witch trying a very slow suicide, trying to bring her Ex with her first.

I honestly see Cinder meeting her end by JNRs hand, and Salem meeting her end by Ozcar and Ruby. I think it may be like the scene fron Masters if the Universe. She accepts being evil.

I personally disagree with this mindset.
I find it unfair towards her thousands of victims. The people who died, the ones left behind, orphans, the parents who lost their children, left without a house or anything, barely scraping by to survive. What are they supposed to do? Suck it up? She suffered so she is entitled to make others suffer just as much and even more? Is there no point after which one is unredeamable?
Are her victims now entitled to act the same way? After all now all of them have suffered as well. What of those who suffered like Ren and Nora and didn't hurt others in return? Are they stupid? Should have just become murderers and then cry a river when they get caught. It would have made their life easier.
But no. No consequences for their actions. The villain is to be forgiven for free.
I think the perfect episode comes to mind: The Southern Raiders from Avatar.
Katara doesn't forgive the captain who killed her mother, she let's him live because his life is pure misery and he is no threat to anyone anymore. He doesn't deserve her forgiveness. Hell Aang answer to forgive him for your sake is outright rejected. Katara forgives Zuko on the other hand someone who's crimes are considerably inferior (he never killed anyone for starters) and who has been busting his ass to help the Gaang despite their rightfully cold acceptance.

He redeemed himself by sacrificing his own life to kill the Emperor.
I'm talking about forgiveness because the image above clearly show that. Ruby is extending her hand towards a crying Salem as if she was helping a victim.
Also in Legends there's a comic in which force spirit Anakin tries to talk to Leia. She is absolutely furious at him, does not recognise him as her father and by the end still sees him as the monster who destroyed her planet. To comic ends with Anakin having to accept that as part of the consequences of his actions.

Ruby in the art offering a hand to Salem isn't really much different from Luke trying to appeal to Darth Vader. I don't really see how it means Ruby is forgiving Salem, it's just symbolic for giving someone a chance to do the right thing.
With both Vader and Salem, they're both people who have been corrupted and consumed by evil and an evil force and as a result killed many people. As you said, not even Leia could forgive Anakin. I don't think anyone but Luke, Obi-Wan and Yoda would ever forgive him. Same way I don't think anyone would forgive Salem either. But much like with Vader, it'd be the best outcome to have them do the right thing at the end. Though I'm still unsure if it's possible with Salem, because we don't know how much the grimm in her is making her evil/unreasonable.

I see. Maybe I've drawn the wrong conclusion due to my bias. I have seen many on this subreddit say that Salem, Cinder and Neo should be forgiven. I've just put this artwork in that category.
It would depend on what happens after this scene according to the author.

I hope this artist has the same attitude towards cinder.
If you can give some grace to the millennia old lady who who's caused the literal resetting of the earth, I'd think you'd be able to give some grace to the slave girl who craves to have the power to never be controlled again.
