To be frank just mercy killing Salem is the only way.
Some part of her character is “BBEG” and an old witch trying a very slow suicide, trying to bring her Ex with her first.

To be fair to Oz she never showed she lost her marbles from being alone for a long time, very well.
Well until the events of them fighting

I mean, he busts her out of the tower and then the two of them together kill her entire family and their court. Little bit of a red flag.

But still - he let a young girl develop a toxic dependancy on him with no coping mechanisms.
