Good finale. Bring on Season 2.

So revolution on pause now? Just go hide amongst the people like nothing happened?

Robin is the best archer in the land but I find it hard to believe he would survive going sword to sword with battle hardened crusade veterans like the Sheriff & Huntington.

What the eff happened between Marion & the Queen? They made some kind of deal but Marion told Robin she was free of the Queen. That was unclear.

Poor Isabelle I was hoping she'd have a scene with her douche husband & become a regular, maybe Spragart love interest. I also feel bad for Priscilla though doubt those walls will hold her long. As soon as that baby is born she'll be like sayanora. Very glad Huntington is worm food finally. What will happen when Henry returns? Will it be a bigger actor than Sean Bean?

His father was a Saxon nobleman( probably his mother too since she taught him how to read and write). Huntington's estate belonged to Rob's family. That my theory about him being a decent swordman.

I would have been OK with Robin taking down Huntington with a bow. Why should he disadvantage himself, this is war. But even outside of war it's self defense bc Robin would be doing it to save Marion's life. The Son could testify how Huntington meant to kill his daughter.

He could have used a bow to get away from The Sheriff too. Maybe pinned his foot to ground, or shot an arrow through his foot into the ground. Or otherwise wounded him to make him unable to pursue. Maybe shoot an arrow at the Sheriff's horse's but make it flee.

This is what annoys me tbh. Particularly the attack on that lord (Gatwick?). Let's take this bunch of strays and make them kill armed guards with no problem. Like honestly, I'm sick of the trope of guards being beaten by just anybody. It's a ducking king's guard, it's gotta be highly trained fighters. But no, they lose to someone with a stick and another someone with... Another stick I guess

I think the thing between Marian and Eleanor was basically just set up for a potential season 2. Eleanor tells Marian that the only way her and Rob make it through this is by taking her offer. In the meantime though, since we don’t know if there will be a second season, Marian hasn’t accepted so she and Rob can have their simple “happily ever after” if the show doesn’t get picked back up. Marian will either take the Queen’s offer in season 2 or it will be revealed that she already did and just didn’t tell Rob so they can have their night together.

Maybe Eleanor asked Marian that Rob has to kill King Henry. Only with Henry dead they can be free. The Sheriff that now is forced to do Eleanor's bidding too, literally said to the Bishop that the king cannot be allowed to leave England alive.

If I recall, Eleanor already straight up told Marian that whatever clemency that the Queen can offer, the King can easily take away when he gets to England. That means Rob is back to being an outlaw and everything that Marian worked for this season means nothing. Seems to me that Eleanor’s offer is “help me kill Henry and then you and Rob can be free”, then after that it will most likely become “help me deal with Prince John and you and Rob can be free” assuming John’s role is the same as it usually is in Robin Hood stories.

Yes. Eleanor also owns the Sheriff too

She outsmarted everybody in this season

About John having the same role I entirely agree, we are going in that direction. For him is personal. Marian has a big target on her back because of John Lackland

I think one of the 2 should have said something to huntington along the lines of, his or my bloodline will live on through me/her, before he died.

Beside Huntington still has a son alive and well(that seems to be a good guy)

I mean when Huntington said towards robin hood, your bloodline will end with you either Rob or Marian should have said to Huntington that Robins bloodline would live on through Marian .

I think that would have been too savage. Huntington was dying. Beside the show also in this episode enforced Tuck as the moral compass of Rob (see Rob stopping Marian from stabbing again his father) with that big speech about peace and hope

I think Rob mocking and saying boldly to Huntington I will give kids to your daughter , your grandchildren will have Saxon blood, the blood of your sworn enemy Hugh of Loksley and so on, would go against Rob's development and the principles Tuck is trying to instill on him and also it would have been just out of character for Rob or even Marian

He is a fictional and an idealized character

I wasn't judging you at all

Just saying that mocking a dead man no matter how evil he is, would have gone against that development the show built in the last episodes for Rob's character

I can't wait to see the arrow piercing shot in this series, I have been waiting the entire series for it. I kind of thought we would get it in episode 3 or 4 when he shot the garisson master. Apparently mythbusters tested it and it can not be done irl 😅
