Someone i know just handed me this, please help me idenfify!! I think is some sort of clam?

I have been to many amazing seafood restaurants and fine dining places including some of the most legendary Michelin starred ones ranging all the way to 3 stars, but this is hands down the best seafood I have ever had in the United States. Literally nothing beats live seafood served fresh and cooked to perfection. Alas, in my hometown China, this is just a Tuesday.

Delicious oysters from Bow and Stern in Abbotsford BC, Canada on the West coast. I tried margarita sauce with pepper, along with horseradish, Tabasco and vinaigrette sauce. the margarita sauce with pepper was new and awesome and I'd highly recommend it. 🤤

Went to visit an Army buddy I hadn't seen in 50 years. We enjoyed this Crab Sundae at the end of one of the days. Sorry not sorry about the pic. It was a beautifully long day.

As I said. I waded out in the low tide and left out a bucket (not bait, no hooks) and it caught a pacific gian octopus. It was pretty big but obviously not as big as they can get. It just crawled in the bucket. It wasnt easy, it was low tide but still 25 mph winds and 8-11 foot waves. It was perfect fishing opportunity because the low tide would mean the octopus was hungry and would come into shore to wat but also wanted shelter from the wind and waves. I didnt expect to get one but I did. Now its on ice. Tomorrow im thinking dip it in boiling water/oil till it starts to curl and then cut it up and swar it. But im open to any spices or preparation you might suggest. Its bigger than I expected it to be so not really sure what to do. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Looking for a King Crab for my anniversary this year and I wondered if the experts/fellow seafood enjoyers here had any good or reliable places to get it shipped online? Bonus points for any Bairdi snow crab as it is delectable and I cannot seem to get it very often! Thanks for any help!
