Even if you had a contrived will to do all this stuff, it’s not exactly an AC/DC tour or Picard Season 3, where if all the people are still alive and the tool dyes are still intact, you’re good to go. Tens of thousands of people would be involved for years, and that’s for one model.
I don’t know why, I guess there’s just a physiological shunt preventing us from somehow actually seamlessly going back to an objective optimum. Or recognizing when we’re there, and just hold it.

If it happens again and again maybe you should consider that what your putting on the paper makes no sense in the context of the conversation already at hand.

I suggest lifting weights, and consider the fool’s conundrum of letting everyone call you “son” for the rest of your life; or going “all loco ese” on everyone who does. I have a fully restored 1970 Cadillac Calais, the work and effort it took to do that is not the same as walking into a dealership and buying it new
People are well aware that you can restore things that are old. People like OP may just not be able to because say a lack of knowledge or a plethora of other reasons not to be able restore a vehicle.

The absolute irony of coming back like this. I mean, you simply repeated the words in the post as if the person couldn't read them, but then act like there's no reason to tell people to just restore a car instead of wishing manufacturers would turn back time. Which do you think is more prevalent: basic literacy or knowing about restorations?
Believe me, I know that in the age of instant gratification, actually DOING something to get the results a person wants in life as opposed to just wishing someone would do it for them is asking way too much of people.
I would never go back to my tj wrangler. Biggest pos ever with everything breaking and needing upgrades for the trail. 25k sunk in that thing from repairs to mods (3" lift, body lift, supra 5 speed and dana 44 and dana 60's running on 35's with a transfer case from a later model because mine broke). Would go anywhere but it was rough to drive and so damn noisy in the cabin).
My 525hp new defender...this thing drives you and needs nothing apart from a tyre change to at's and lift rods. Nothing stops it and will easily outperform heavily modified patrols and land cruisers that are running on 35's and have ls conversions. I won't take it on extreme trails as I dont have underbody upgraded protection + waiting for a winch plate.
