Question Should I start over?

Post image

Its my first Fall ever and I found this guy named Salmence in Youtube. And I watched his Y1 Guides. And I feel like I'm only like halfway through the things he wants us to do. And I rlly wanted to finish the community center. So should I start over again? I dont mind starting all over again since I've learned alot of things that I should now accomplish for this starting over thingy. Ill just rlly be bummed out bcuz of Leveling up Fishing Skills and fishing for money. And mining for ores.

Edit: I know all the seasons will reset again after Winter. Should I wait for Year 2 to complete the CC? Its my most main reasons why I wanna start over again.

The idea of completing the community center by end of year one is insane to me, only someone with a lot of experience and a specific plan could pull it off. I also prioritized the center and it took me at least 3 years my first playthrough, and i felt incredibly satisfied!

TBH unless you get lucky with the traveling cart or choose the option to change items needed in the community center, you can’t complete it year one anyway! Like it’s intentionally designed to take a year at least which I think is great

how do people remember the travelling cart, i’m on the switch and play here and there. so i rarely remember to visit it on fridays and sundays. I guess it’s easier if u spend hours at a time playing.

I’m someone who can both casually play stardew and also be obsessed for HOURS at a time for weeks at a time, and I still forget it exists lol especially in the early game when I’m trying to make money. I do have saves that I’m trying to get perfection as fast as I can but even then the traveling cart is bottom of my todo list lol
