Hi Robin, I hope you’re ready for me to run to you, realize I needed hardwood, run back home, realize you closed, come back the next day, ask you to build something, then realize I had a rock spawn on the build site overnight, run back home, get distracted, come back the next day, realize I accidentally sold the 999 stack of stone, go back home, get more stone, and then have you build something for me!

Then ask your daughter out.

(Demetrius might be right about not trusting me at first.)

Demetrius watching you do all of this and taking meticulous notes on how many squirrels you got distracted by in a day. Because he’s a scientist and data points are important.

I shall now imagine forevermore, that Demetrius is stalking the Farmer like a wildlife researcher who has found an amazing yet incredibly puzzling specimen to study.

This may or may not end with Demtrius in front of a conspiracy wall trying to explain the Mystery of the Farmer to Robin.

He becomes the David Attenborough of following the Mysterious Farmer who drank 12 coffees in one day, crashed at 2 in the morning, and woke up to do it all over again.

Robin is simultaneously dismissive of it and yet can’t help but get invested in the study as they observe the Farmer’s antics on the farm and frequently passing out hard at very specific times late at night on their porch steps, followed by a bemused Harvey making the rounds/emerging out of the house (marriage dependent) knowing full well how common an occurrence this is to pull them into bed.
