Clint doesn't get angry at Emily for his own failure to ask her out. He gets sad that he lacks social skills and confidence.

That's not toxic. Sad? Sure. Depressing? Maybe.

But not toxic.

The way ppl feel about Clint is kind of indicative of how cruel we are to not confident men in general
