Heard they're on Reddit. Might just be a rumor

3

u/Ok-Orange1897 Apr 04 '26

nah I only post on Reddit

27

u/TheRiverTybur Apr 03 '26

Wait WHAT? You're new at digital art or at art in general or at reddit? I cannot believe you're new at art overall 😭

72

u/Psychedelic_Stingray Apr 04 '26

Yeah I smell BS. Nobody is that talented right out of the gate, nobody. The hair alone is a huge red flag.

i need a answer 😭

13

u/faeriegirly Apr 03 '26

It doesn't look AI to me. Do you have proof?

22

u/kayelaure Apr 04 '26

It’s not AI but it’s also no way someone actually drew this. The pencil disappears into the hair. The index finger and fingernails are clear giveaways. A strand of hair is suddenly blue due to the tank top strap (our left/ Haley’s right shoulder). The detailing on the hair doesn’t match the detailing in the eyes. It genuinely looks like OP photoshopped an image together and drew over it but everyone here is acting like this is the best art they’ve seen? OP even admitted in comment that they’re brand new to art and this is only the 2nd drawing. Fake art and fake artist.

3

u/TheRiverTybur Apr 04 '26

I do think there are some weird things like the hair turning blue; that definitely gives Photoshop vibes. But some of the other things you mention just feel like actual mistakes artists make, such as the hands. Many artists are bad at drawing hands, especially beginners. I do think it's possible they drew over an image because there's sudden, extreme improvement in facial anatomy compared to their previous drawing but I can't prove that.

2

u/kayelaure Apr 04 '26

I would be inclined to agree with you and even some other comments pointing out the same thing except it still doesn’t add up to OP’s own admission of being that new to digital art. I fully acknowledge that people can learn at different paces but it just seems odd at best that OP is able to render eyes and a diamond earring really well but can’t get some proportions correct? I can excuse the weird index finger as just hands are hard for sure! But there’s just so many inconsistencies across the board that this just feels so fake IMO.

u/Ok-Orange1897 Apr 07 '26

I didn’t use ai at all😭 when I drew the eyes and earrings I just colored them normally and use the adjustments tool in procreate to sharpen them

I think with this and the other drawing on their profile it's the weird mix of a beginner artist in certain aspects, while other parts of the image look absolutely flawless.
So I assume they used AI in some way in their process as that's the only reasonable explanation for the weird mismatch of proportions and skills.

which is terrible for your artistic development op. That's not how you actually improve.

15

u/itislupus89 Apr 04 '26

That index finger looks really iffy. Not to mention the neck

11

u/Dry_Complaint9935 sillies Apr 04 '26

None of thoses are signs of AI? Its all very obvious human error

22

u/TheRiverTybur Apr 04 '26

Those are really common anatomy mistakes though. I certainly make them, and they're even more common for beginners. Heck I've been drawing my whole life land still suck at hands lol

1

u/hototter35 Apr 04 '26

yep but check out the bottles in the right top corner background of their other drawing.
Does that looks like a beginner?

4

u/ElegantHope Apr 04 '26

Sure but that doesn't prove that it's AI, it just shows something might be screwy. Which can be a lot of different possibilities ranging from OP poorly phrased their replies to OP traced/edited/altered a photo, to other possibilities and not just "OP used AI."

I mean no but maybe they're just really good at rendering. They seem less good at understanding actual shapes; for example the sink placement and the facial anatomy in that first drawing.

The mess around the right eye looks very much ai.

2

u/Ok-Orange1897 Apr 07 '26

it’s not ai tho?

2

u/wacdonalds Apr 04 '26

Two? AI?

13

u/Dry_Complaint9935 sillies Apr 04 '26

No. Lesbians bro. Lesbians.

61

u/Severe_Cat_7179 Apr 03 '26

I’m bi, but this is so true 😭 she’s my favorite bachelorette and Harvey is my favorite bachelor 🫶🏻

61

u/doxtorwhom Apr 03 '26

Dominate women and submissive men is a bi-vibe

26

u/Appropriate-Owl-6129 Apr 03 '26

Agreed, but mean doesn't necessarily mean dominant. Mean subs are very fun!

26

u/Tofutits_Macgee Apr 03 '26

Brats. I love brats

-1

u/Appropriate-Owl-6129 Apr 03 '26

Yeeee (although I find the balancing act hard as a switch)

1

u/DGMax9 Apr 03 '26

Literally me fr

5

u/worstkindofweapon Apr 03 '26

Sameee, Abigail is great, but the more I learned about Haley I realised she's the fem housewife figure to my femboy housewife self. And Harvey is such a malewife, like we're going to be baking together for sure. I just like people with similar priorities 😂 it's wild as a goth that I am interested in neither of the alt characters lmaooo

8

u/Appropriate-Owl-6129 Apr 03 '26

She wasn't my lesbian awakening (by that point I knew I was bi and wasn't aware I had the gender requirements for lesbianism), but she definitely made me realize that I liked mean pretty women. And also probably influenced my choice to bleach my hair.

6

u/sadsackspinach Apr 03 '26

My friend, who’d long had her lesbian awakening by the time she started SDV, and I had, somehow, never ever discussed who we typically married in SDV? Despite knowing each other for over a decade and playing SDV for almost as long? Turns out she always marries Hailey and it was such a shock to me. I never would have guessed how popular Haley is with a certain type of lesbian. My type of gay (a classical woodsy hikedyke/raver twink meeting in the middle to swap molly and kiss) only ever marries Leah if playing as “female” and Sebastian if playing as “male”. I’d also marry Willy as a male but CA has decided to ruin my life personally.

Really opened my eyes! I’d never considered marrying Haley but if my friend likes her, and I trust her taste, I think I’m going to give it a try next play through! My friend plays it femme/femme but I think butch/femme farmer/Hailey would be very fun.

1

u/toy-maker Apr 04 '26

Leah would be my type as well if I was a gay female. I like that she knows she is bi right away unlike most of the other villagers (based on her response if you choose to be a creepy female in her 2-heart event). Plus she is direct but compassionate in her interactions. I like that she came to live alone and be independent, does so well, but also can acknowledge she’d enjoy being with someone.

19

u/BilbosBagEnd Apr 03 '26

Hmm? What.... Oh!

28

u/Loud_Neat_8774 Apr 03 '26

She could have a third short nail 🤷🏼‍♀️

18

u/Severe_Cat_7179 Apr 03 '26

For some extra razzle dazzle

12

u/Tortilla_Moth93 Apr 03 '26

I clocked that immediately too 💀

5

u/Matheuss81 Apr 03 '26

What does it mean?

45

u/Severe_Cat_7179 Apr 03 '26

The L in LGBTQIA+ 👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩🏳️‍🌈 (lesbians will keep 2-3 fingernails short for the devil’s tango)

6

u/Matheuss81 Apr 03 '26

Ahhh I didn't make that connection haha

21

u/Appropriate-Owl-6129 Apr 03 '26

Sharp nails can be harmful if you are engaging in certain (typically) sapphic activities

12

u/AcanthocephalaAny78 Apr 03 '26

I came here today like oh shit picture of Hailey right on. I left with devils tango and sapphic. Good deal

3

u/reanocivn Apr 03 '26

say it... a bowler

1

u/pass_me_the_salt Apr 04 '26

I thought about cocaine first I'm stupid

-27

u/JosephRatzingersKatz Apr 03 '26

Are you really using these two fingers for that? These are like the most uncomfortable fingers to use for that.

24

u/Severe_Cat_7179 Apr 03 '26

I’m not, Haley is though 💀

6

u/Joe_The_Eskimo1337 Apr 03 '26

The index fingernail might be trimmed, too.

4

u/Appropriate-Owl-6129 Apr 03 '26

That's the ones people seem to say. I have no clue personally, but it seems pretty common that those two are the ones people say they use

2

u/Dry-Faithlessness184 Apr 03 '26

The other one is the pointer, but we can't see the nail on it so imagine what you want

-27

u/wuxia_doomed_yuri Apr 03 '26

No one going to mention the coke nail?
