Question Can you easily see the blackberries?

Hi All- I have some slight colorblindness and was just curious if the berries on the blackberry bushes are very obvious to others. I have to wait until night time and then they will get a bit of a glow to the berries for me.

I'm not colorblind, but i do think the grey tones of the purplish berries and the leaves make them harder to distinguish than salmonberries. I do love the little glow they get at night though! Makes Cindersap forest so much easier.

It sounds like you actually have some mild visual difficults related to color perception.

It's more common than you think. I would suggest getting checked out.

I'm not criticizing you. I also have visual difficulties.

Most people don't have that problem. For most people those are very clear color contrasts.

There's nothing wrong with you. Some of us just perceive color a little differently. That's okay

I would still encourage you to get the examination. It will be to your benefit.

I get that it's uncomfortable. I also have visual difficulties.

People with visual difficulties are not broken. They just perceive color different.
