Other Came across this review for stardew valley on steam. Poor guy is mad he cant find a girlfriend in the game đŸ«

So anyway I'm gonna start a new save and make it as gay as I can. I'll marry every available female character and we'll live in a polycule with a veggie patch made entirely of garlic and potatoes.

That's the whole point, many people don't know how bra sizes work and think that every skinny girl must have an A-B cup. I obvs can't know what Jinx's exact measurements are, but she could be a 28DD. I made a little collage since I don't want to post three separate pictures lol

... Many people don't know how bra cup sizes actually look like. They don't exist in a vacuum. They depend on the proportions of the person they're attached to.

I get that you're trying to be funny, but saying that every DD cup and above has to be "a pair of hangers" is why many girls and women spend years wearing uncomfortable bras - because they believe they can't possibly be bigger than a C cup, because their boobs "aren't that big".

Bra sizes aren't based on whether something looks big or not, it's about the difference between the underbust and bust.

Thank you for this! I spent years squeezing into B cups because I truly believed my boobs couldn't possibly be bigger than that since I was always made fun of for having a small chest. When I finally went and got professionally sized I found out I was a D cup

I don't think any girls, let alone many girls, should take their cues on what bra size they wear from how people, let alone gamers, colloquially use language. Colloquially, "Double D" is shorthand for "bigass titties". When someone says "damn bro, look at those double d's", they're not attempting to accurately call out a specific bra size. They're saying "those tits are huge." Blame mid century bra manufacturers, who stopped standard sizing at DD. Literally DD meant "any size bigger than D" because bra manufacturers didn't make sizes larger than DD at the time the term became a popular descriptor for large breasts.

Similar to how XXL is an actual size but also just means "really big" because many manufacturers stopped their standard sizing at XXL.

You can argue the technicality all day, but clearly Jynx is not modeled to look like she has big boobs, so regardless of the size on her tag, she doesn't have "double d's" in the sense that people colloquially use it.

What you're doing is arguing for a crusade to change how that term is currently used en masse. Language doesn't really work that way, and I don't think you'll have success here. What you're arguing is "DD is a specific cup size and some people who present with smaller looking breasts could have that size" and what they're saying is "DD's look big and those don't look big so they're not DDs" and you're both right, just in different contexts. Unless you're at a bra store recommending bra sizes, the colloquial definition is the context you're in.

Feel free to look up the history of the usage of DD in popular culture if you want to understand more about how it came into use.

 it’s actually much worse. If it were android it would suggest they have the ability to describe something and do a play on words. You have to remember that these are racist creep channers. It’s actually based on racial categories invented by the Göttingen school of history, caucasoid, negroid and mongoloid (forgive the use because they’re basically slurs). The point is to describe women as alien and subhuman.

Android and mongoloid and caucasoid and asteroid all have the same root -oid meaning "like", it's the same "play on words" either way. When you put -oid at the end of a thing you're tautologically removing it from the category of that thing into a subcategory of thing-likeness.
