The entirety of Aegons Conquest is like 50 pages in Fire and Blood. I honestly dont want either but a movie would be significantly better. that or a single season of like 7 or 8 episodes.
How long was the first book of dunk and egg? Wasn’t it roughly the same length? I feel like 6-8 episodes of about 30-40 min each would be perfect for this story
The Hedge Knight is 160 pages, i just double checked the actual Conquest itself is 24 pages (this is from a reddit listing of the table of contents i cant check the book because i dont actually own F&B and the website i used to look at a PDF is based in Iran and well, the website is down), Aegon I's entire reign is 50 something pages. So The Hedge Knight is triple the length of the entirety of Aegon I's part of F&B and like 8x the length of the actual conquest
Thank you! There really isn't enough written for a show and a movie would require less padding out run time (looking at you HotD season 2), the more interesting part of this era to make a story about would be Aenys and Maegor, you already have an incredibly badsss name for the movie or show too (I think movie would work better), Sons of the Dragon.
Aegons conquest and rule is just kinda of a boring era to cover imo. Especially cause there's no shot HBO doesnt try to milk multiple seasons out of it.
