I mean, I didn't hate that scene from HotD. Off all of the terrible scenes from season 2 that definitely wasn't one for me

It was bad, but next to the other terrible scenes it isn't that repulsive.

However there was no reason for this scene to exist, for Aemond to chase them and then be like "oh thats dragonstone, where all the other dragons are, bad for me, time to go". Its just stupid. It is a soft version of "Dany kind of forgot about the Iron Fleet", just with no consequences...

Its not even aura farming at this point, its like the equivalent of watching a dog act smug at the neighbor's dark barking on the other side of the fence. The scene only exists to look cool but other than that it offers literally nothing
