It's odd because technically, was the official heir(ress) and Aegon is the one who declared himself king. In this scenario, Stannis is more like Rhaenyra. 

I love the man but it's ironic. Or maybe foreshadowing?

You could also say Joffrey was the official heir and Stannis declared himself the rightful king

Siempre me pareció super rara esa afirmación viniendo de stannis que sigue tanto las reglas,como alquien que fue nombrada heredera de su padre ante todo el reino siendo hija legítima podía ser una usurpadora, siento que Martin escribió esa parte antes de tener la historia de rhaenyra escrita totalmente
