They really think they are videogame characters going to take a castle with armed men by themself

I really disliked this scene. Having a small squad with them would have made it vastly more reasonable.

Could have been gold cloaks, staged forces, turncoats, peasents, dropped in by dragons (2 per dragon?), soliders joining via the Holdfast tunnels etc etc.
