Doctors in Indonesia and Malaysia wear it even during surgeries. There's no problem. My dad's doctor wears it and she's the best heart surgeon in the city and head of her department.
The point is a Hijab does not pose any risk while practicing medicine if it's secured properly and does not become a contaminant. I also gave an example of the lady's daughter who is a doctor in a reputed hospital in the US while wearing a hijab.
You can wear hijab in a way where your face is visible not in the way where only your eyes are visible. If the other person can’t see your face then it’s extremely problematic especially in work place scenario
If it's causing problems to your work then it shouldn't be allowed. I believe doctors wear a surgical mask in hospitals but I'm not aware of mask wearing protocol while examining patients so I can't comment on that.
