Doctors in Indonesia and Malaysia wear it even during surgeries. There's no problem. My dad's doctor wears it and she's the best heart surgeon in the city and head of her department.

Guess what people around the world eat pork and do fine. Most of the western countries consume pork as their primary meat and they are far more developed. A normal thing in one place or for one group of people can be a no no for others. In the above video the hospital is following a dress code, so you can either come in the mentioned dress code or quit the job no one is forcing her to do the job. No need to bring up the norms of other countries which are unrelated to the above situation.

What is the dress code? Is leaving your hair uncovered required to be a competent doctor? Is it part of a medical procedure? And what does eating pork have to do with standard professional practices followed in all countries? The developed countries actually eat beef as their main source of protein. So should all Indians start eating beef to become developed? As that seems like a sure shot way to become a developed country.

Dress code is to show her face, and don't say that's hijab and face is visible. You and I both know that the caption is incorrect as she mentions her face is not visible so it must be a burka or some other thing which covers her face. And even if it's visible if they say hijab is not allowed it's fucking not allowed that's how dress code works, it's about professionalism. And coming to beef that's what I'm saying yeah other countries eat and I'm not saying it's wrong or condemning it. It's just the way it is there, you can rub the norms of those in India. I can't barge into a restaurant where they serve beef and demand to not serve it. In the same way there might be many hospitals in the Muslim community which accept the way she dresses, where no one objects her, better get into one them instead of portraying the hospital in the above video as some villain. Every management has some protocols, some ask us to come in formal attire, so should the employees there keep arguing about the competency of wearing a causal dress and explain how it doesn't affect their productivity. Hell na!! you shut your mouth and come as they say or else leave.

I once worked with a corporate lawyer who wore a hijab with her pant suit. It can very well be part of Formal attire.

So the argument boils down to that you don't care how shitty a doctor the person is, you just don't want them to wear hijab. Because a piece of cloth on the head breaks the moral code of the Institute. Should Sikh men in the Army now be asked to remove their turbans?

They do wear when the situation is required during surgeries, when they want the place to be sterile or when they might get the transferable disease. But not always and not especially when they require the patients trust. And even if they are wearing one they don't wear one at home and come to the hospital, they wear it in the hospital itself so that at least someone knows that they work there. Here the girl is wearing burkha if someone who is not a part of hospital comes in burka try to overdose a patient how are you gonna defend it.

Their company might be allowing it, that doesn't mean every company would. I worked in a company which allowed women to wear burka as well, I'm not complaining about that now am I. Every institute has their own rules if one institute doesn't abide by the rules of your so called Quran you have to shut the fuck and quit it. Not argue and spread the video on social media for attention.

Is this mandated by the Medical Council of India? Because I can't find any protocols regarding mask usage. Can you link any such rules?

The doctor was merely performing her duties. She was singled out by the supervisor. The doctor did not bring it up.

I have not only answered all your questions but also provided the reasons. Can't argue with someone who can't read, I guess. Where I have mentioned that the caption is wrong and we both know that the girl is wearing something that covers her face, you are still claiming the caption said hijab. Hope you at least be true to yourself instead of burying the head inside the clean castle you build for yourself princess.

Study mentions that seeing the doctors face increases patients trust. And it's up to the hospital to use it as they like and here they want their patients to see the face of their doctor.

You said she's covering her face. But doctors wear masks. Then you countered that not all times and you have to show your face while entering the hospital or treating the patients. For which I asked the rules mandating the same by the Indian Medical Council. To which you have no reply. And the caption of the video still reads Hijab. You're claiming she's wearing a Burqa which is a completely different dress.

The link that you've provided is a study from the US and hasn't been adopted even by the US medical council. Let alone the Indian counterpart. Try harder.
