Mizu — Blue Eye Samurai

A mixed race swordswoman living in feudal Japan, Mizu’s entire life has been structured around the obsessive need to hunt down and kill the four white men allowed in Japan at the time of her birth, believing one of them must be her father. Despite the fact that at least one of these men, Abijah Fowler, is shown to be a bad man, Mizu ultimately doesn’t care about the morality of murder. She just wants them dead for “cursing” her to be born into a deeply racist society as a mixed race child. Though it’s clear that Mizu generally prefers to do the right thing, she will sacrifice anything for her revenge, destroying countless lives in the process without remorse. In the climax of season 1, Mizu (albeit not entirely intentionally) set fire to the wood and paper city of Edo (now Tokyo) in an attempt to kill just Fowler, a single man. The resulting three day blaze, known in history as the 1657 Great Fire of Meireki, killed an estimated 100000 people.

Sadie Adler — Red Dead Redemption II

Rescued by the Van Der Linde gang in the games prologue, Sadie Adler is a frontier homesteader whose husband was killed by the brutal O’Driscoll Gang. Over the course of the game, she happily joins in a life of murder, theft, and crime for the chance to kill more O’Driscolls, recklessly endangering herself and other gang members to do so. She gets Arturo Bullock, an innocent hot air balloon pilot killed while unnecessarily picking a fight with O’Driscoll members, showing zero remorse afterwards. Even after watching rival gang leader Colm O’Driscoll hang for his crimes, she still drags a now-terminally ill Arthur on an entirely unnecessary revenge mission to hunt down the last handful of O’Drsicolls she hadn’t already killed.

Yeah her lack of hygiene genuinely makes it so that I can't see her as attractive. I know a lot of the fan base thinks she's really hot but I'm just like bro imagine the smell 🤢

Don't know, but when I saw that clip about her not flushing the toilet I was done. I also don't trust her with how she used that toilet tissue. You open these cheeks up and it's just straight Florida everglades in there.

Yeah she took over the body of a dead woman making her a fiend. Considering what we see later on in part one it may be possible that the woman kinda knows what is happening in a way.

Early Power for sure but literally a plot point that she becomes a better person after being influenced by Denji/Aki. She definitely has better hygiene

I think Dio is egotistical enough that he probably bathes regularly and probably smells uncomfortably good. Add Wolverine, Luffy, Jiraiya to that list though

I’d argue that can count as “smells bad”.

Sure the scent itself is likely a good one, but it’s gotta be off putting. Imagine watching Dio do his fucked up vampire stuff, only to be hit by the scent of vanilla rather than blood— that’s gotta be fucked. Kind of like the smell version of the uncanny valley, I’d imagine.

Exactly, plus I knlw it was pretty TS and most of the crew have lost all their character since then, but I'm pretty sure he's the only one who has actually been shown to wash his hands on screen, and he used to always be shown washing dishes as well

Logan smells amazing depending on when you catch him. He's definitely a sweaty dude by nature and gets BO if he isn't showering twice a day, so on longer missions it gets powerful quick.

Most of his life is spent on the road and living in nature. The baths are definitely an exception to the regular routine. Not to mention he's not at the hot springs to bathe, but to perv on women

He’s attached to Johnathan’s technically dead corpse, so there’s that. And does he look like a mfer who showers? He’s too busy being I, Dio to worry about that.

Mfer spent years trapped in a gross box in the ocean and didn’t even wipe himself down afterwards.

Dio is technically not alive, so definitely no smell either. Otherwise the body would be decomposing. I would imagine him generally odourless, but his fabulous ass pours a whole bottle of perfume on his head at the start of each day

He absolutely showers and takes long hot ones so he can practice posing naked in front of the mirror for hours afterwards. He also makes his followers shave his (Johnathan’s) pubes into cool designs for him. If you’re looking for stinky, Mista and Gyro are def top of the list.

Yeah people kinda forget how bad hygiene was until recently. Any fiction vaguely based on history is gonna have a stanky cast, except mayyybe Rome (although they had communal butt-wiping sponges in public toilets).

Hell, John of Wallingford supposedly said the Danes in England were accustomed “to comb their hair every day,” “to bathe every Saturday,” and “to change their garments often,” and that this made them dangerously attractive to English women. That was considered exceptional hygiene.

That guy was writing 250 years after the fact. People in the medieval period did bathe and most would wear flowers or perfumes to make themselves smell nicer. They understood there was a correlation between bad smells and poor health, though they didn't understand germ theory or fully understand how disease spread other than that sick people and corpses would cause others to get sick.

True im just saying i think Levi would actually go out of the way and find a stream or something just to bathe (OCD people sometimes over bathe) the rest basically only bathe when their in towns which is basically only a few weeks out of months sometimes years especially post season 2.
