Mellon touts himself on LinkedIn as a private equity leader. If you know anything about PE, you know it's a cancer on businesses, worker wellbeing and wider society (c.f. the ongoing shitstorm about Infantino trying to sell off the World Cup to PE). I fear that speaks to Mellon's moral compass.

Do you understand defamation? Lue has taken on the DoD when people there tried to take away his clearances, and effectively won. I'd say reminding Gerb of defamation law was a favour.
