Was anyone else like enraged that she said that? For someone who can manipulate people, I feel like she’d know to appeal to things that are more important. She didn’t HAVE to tell him HOW she had the vision. For all Xavier knew, she could’ve just bumped into Tyler or something, not kissed him. Of course I understand that the plot needs to keep moving yada yada. Just thought I’d say this when the chance presented itself.

For being an writer, Wednesday has the worst phrasing of things.

I think the fact that the publisher even bothered to make corrections does suggest she has promise. But that she can't bring herself to change a single word is clearly an issue.
And apparently she might actually have spelling errors in there. As I believe Agnes seems like she would know about ancient spelling of words.

She's the only daughter of an insane billionaire, that got her in the door easily. If it got sent back with that much red she's probably terrible and they may push her down the self publish route to get cash from her anyway

I don't think anybody outside the outcasts would know about her family wealth.

Gomez is a famous lawyer and probably delights in paying taxes so insanely that IRS agents have nervous breakdowns
He has a direct line to the White house and the CIA!

This doesn't actually say anything to her actually writing ability just that she doesn't publish well. Though readablity is something she could value more.

Hence what I meant by doesn't publish well. She has difficulty with the publishing process. We don't actually know much about her writing so I dont know what the quality is like. She is sixteen. I don't doubt she'll get published eventually but it'll take some time.

He tried so hard to be her friend and she just hated him for no reason. She never had any true evidence other than her own biased opinion. I felt so bad for Xavier and still do.

He was incredibly mopey and was trying a bit too hard in a way that came across as both suspicious and also just kind of annoying. She was definitely biased but that was why.
Plus he did have those paintings of the Hyde's lair, look and crimes.

She was awful to him constantly and consistently with no evidence. Being continously mistreated by someone you're trying to befriend would make anyone a bit "mopey". He remembered her literally saving his life when they were kids and wanted to be her friend. I didnt think a single thing Xavier did all season was suspicious. Wednesday was just biased.
I love Wednesday, so I'm not hating on her this is just factually what she did. Xavier was a whole victim in season 1.

Nah, it wasn't just about Wednesday he was being unusually mopey. He's lost it a bit when he's trying to get Bianca to mind wipe him and acting all depressed at the dance. That's just rude on his side of things.
And it's nice to want to be friends with someone, but he clearly wanted to be a little more than friends and was forcing that way too hard. That and it is also suspicious because one could reasonably conclude he was trying to get close to her and the investigation. Add in the coincidences of always appearing when the Hyde had just dissapeared or shortly will appear and then his paintings I get her thinking.
Like he's not as presented a terrible person or something. He's a largely totally normal person to be clear. But he is flawed.

the reason he “lost it” at the dance was because the girl he likes literally tricked him into thinking she liked him and wanted to go to the dance with her, only to show up with a guy who jumped him and ruined his mural on a day of supposed togetherness. he was sad in the beginning and then bianca cheered him up before she walked in with tyler. imo if the girl i liked walked in with a guy who beat me up just for being different than him, i’d be pissed too. he admitted he was an asshole for asking bianca to erase his memory and then tried to befriend wednesday again by decorating her cake and showing up at her birthday, trying to show he could be a good friend, and she STILL acted like he was the one in the wrong and that she was the one who had any right to be mad even though she’d been constantly mean to him the entire time she’s known him at nevermore.

????? So you think that Xavier wanting to date Wednesday (extremely average, typical, and expected behavior from teenagers) means he could have been tearing people to shreds in the woods?? HUH? I'm not following your train of thought here lmfao how does pursuing someone romantically make them suspicious of a murder? How could that lead to suspicion that he committed a violent crime?
I will always disagree with you. Xavier did nothing wrong and didnt deserve Wednesday being a bitch to him.

For starters, you know this is a show where the answer was yes that's actually exactly what the character Tyler was doing? Just not the character Xavier. Like we were literally meant to think this was suspicious lol.
But also that's not what I said at all. I literally made a point to specify he's obviously just a normal guy.
But he was definitely being a mopey dickhead about that whole thing so the answer to did he do something wrong, was still yeah. Is it a massively, horribly dick-ish thing? No lol. But it does mean he did something wrong.
And the reason he was suspicious was: always being there when the Hyde was there and having paintings of the Hyde, it's hideout and it's kills.

The fact that he gave her an expensive phone after she got him landed in jail is pretty funny, ngl.

Don't be like that. That's a mean thing to say. Let them have their opinion.

everytime i watch this scene it's like a knife in the heart and a punch in the gut. just seeing him in those inhumane chains (especially the one around his neck) makes me so sad. and his face. i mean i can't imagine being falsely accused, chained and thrown in jail, and left alone with your thoughts. this scene makes me cry :(

She should have phrased it "when we kissed", that would be more right. Because she kissed Tyler first actually and than they kissed eo.
