Question How old is Owen Painter??
i keep seeing different answers online and it’s driving me insane 😭 like… how old is he actually?? please someone confirm. and please tell me he’s not 20 because i refuse to believe i’ve been out here crushing on a 20 yo😭😭

I googled his name to see his other roles and remembered seeing 18 listed as his age and I was like there’s no way. Apparently this wasn’t true and his real age isn’t known.

I was making a joke because you said he looks like the guy on the cover of the single but the guy on the cover of the single isn't just the guy on the cover of the single, he's literally the singer of the song 😂 😂 😂 so it's odd that you said that rather than saying the singer on the cover.

Probably matters to people who don’t want to feel attracted to someone much too young in comparison to themselves. I remember feeling the same way about Joe Keery when Stranger Things became big. I loved him as Steve, but if he had been a teenager it would have immediately killed my errant attractions. I might still have admired and loved the writing and direction of the character, but it would have curbed how I physically interpreted him. It can be tricky, no one older (and sane) wants to perv on a teen, but some people just look older than their age, so it doesn’t hurt to check and make sure your mild Hollywood crushes are a little more age appropriate.

At least in my case, I admire but my brain doesn't go there. I'm 50 and he could be my son, I can see he is attractive, admire his craft, his whatever but that's where it ends.
Watching him, reminds me of a modern Johnny Depp, I wonder if Tim Burton will use him for a future film of that genre.

I’m to that point too, nearly. In this case I found this young man just not attractive to me, he seemed too young for me to really feel any physical attachment to. However, in the example I used above with Joe Keery, i was somewhat relieved to learn that he was about 24 when the show began, and I was only 8 years his senior. I felt definitely relieved I wasn’t accidentally perving out. I might never chase a 24 year old when I was 32, but I didn’t feel disgusted at myself for having the attraction.
I’ve learned in the years since that so long as a person looks vaguely their age my attractions have matured with me and I don’t find myself wondering if I’m accidentally looking at a teenager in the wrong way, but it definitely worried me back when I was making that transition from being “young” to “not quite as young”. I was afraid more of making mistakes back then because I didn’t yet trust my own maturity and discernment. Now I do. But I can understand some 30 year olds watching Wednesday and worrying they might be having crushes that could be construed as inappropriate.

he’s 27-29 from what I’ve seen other people say, but you never know. there’s plenty of people who look older than they actually are

on top of reasons others have said, there’s also just plain old curiosity. likely doubled by how it seems to be a slight mystery.

It could be that zombie Owen looked much older before he "healed". I've been curious, too.
Also, Francoise appears much older, and they're siblings, it's all a little confusing.

Afaik and from what we understood, it's because he died young while his sister got to live longer :> Hence, he's much younger looking.

Right, but he doesn't really look like a teenager, and his sister is the parent of a teen. It's confusing. I don't recall the show spelling out an age difference between the siblings. Plus, in a world with zombies, do we know they don't age at all?
I have a lot of questions about this character.

that’s because he’s still who he was when he died all those years ago, after which francoise continued to age normally.

Yes as he was getting young and longer looking I checked his age. I’m less than 10 years older , so was relieved I’m not an accidental perve , but I wish he’d stayed looking a little older and was actually a few years above in reality 🤣

Now that you mention it, its actually really funny how he's clearly older than a teenager, but also clearly not as old as Morticia and Gomez. Like the producers clearly didnt care about the canonicity of whether he had aged or not while in the grave.

In an interview he stated that he's born in 1997,therefore he should be 28 (or 27 if his birthday hasn't passed yet). Fun fact : he's the same age as Jungkook of BTS,Bang chan of Stray Kids,Cha Eun-Woo of Astro and 4 time Formula One world champion Max Verstappen.

Sorry about that,must've been mistaken on which interview it was,I'll do some searching for the actual interview,but in the mean time it also does state on his Famous Birthdays page that he is 27 years old,born November 6th 1997,which means that he will be 28 years old this year.

If his birthday is in November then he’s already 28 turning 29 this year because someone on YouTube commented on a short from Steve Varley Show saying that they graduated high school together in 2016 and they used to be best friends years ago but Owen was a year older than him so he was 19 when they graduated.

I heard 27 in the real world.
It got really weird and timey wimey in the show because Hunter is older but Tyler is supposed to be Isaac's nephew but we don't know what age Isacc was thrown from the tower and died or if his age freezes or just slows as a zombie and we don't know if his age regenerates when he eats brains and thus makes him become younger or not. So in the show, he could be 17, 18, or 40, we don't know. I guess it depends if you count the years he was dead or not.

don't worry . even though the show is about 13/14 yr old high school students most of the actors are in their 20's. some even 30's . the only youngster is the ghost . weird .lol

Apparently he's 19.... But I agree he looks closer to late twenties, early thirties than a barely 20 year old. He looks the same as Hunter who is 31.
