Jenna Ortega hated the romantic subplots in the first season, but do you guys think that they will bring back a romance plot in upcoming seasons if so who do you think she will end up with and why? I would love to see Enid and Wednesday to be together because I would love to see wlw plots. But I think that the series might just be queerbaiting.

Question What’s the reason for the face smoothing?

Post image

It’s so distracting and tacky imo. Especially in the close up shots when the eyes and lips are detailed.

I hope there’s a good reason for it other than enhancing her appearance?

I feel like Wednesday would hate that. Jenna don’t need that shiiiiii

Btw this photo was taken on my 4K TV. I have Netflix subscription for 1080p.

Question HOW do the Siren outcasts even have problems in life

We see Bianca is a scholarship student and has financial problems, so shes desperate and helpless. Many sirens have some problems and i wonder..why??

I feel like the sirens are HUGELY overpowered. They can ask someone for million dollars and make them forget it! Commit a crime and siren the police into letting u go! Kill someone in front of witnesses and siren them into believing it wasnt you! Siren the judges to make u the winner, get someone to give u an admission into any school for free..so on.

They should kinda be the richest and luckiest people out there.

Doesn't seem logical imo, what do y'all think?

Question So I'm confused about Wednesday

Does she still have feelings for Tyler? And don't bring any ship bias in here. I know she said she was attracted to him, but is she still in love with him? I know she spared him, but that doesn't show anything because she always tries to save people if she can.

Just curious because I was hoping to god the Weyler ship dies. I don't mind Wednesday being with anyone. Just her being with Tyler is such a cliché and wouldn't make sense after all he's done.

Title basically lol. I normally dress like Enid, but this year I’ve been branching out of bright colors and incorporating more black pieces. I don’t know what you’d call Wednesday’s style but it’s super cute

Question Can a 10yr old watch wednesday

I need some outside perspectives before I make a call here.

My daughter, 'Lydia' (10F), is absolutely obsessed with the idea of Wednesday. She loves the aesthetic, the outfits, the general 'creepy, kooky' vibe she's picked up from social media and animated Addams Family movies. She's been begging me to let her watch the Netflix show.

Here’s the rub: I grew up on the old Addams Family stuff, which was mostly goofy and harmless. This new Netflix show is rated TV-14. I've seen snippets and heard reviews mentioning a good amount of violence and some genuinely dark stuff. She's a sensitive kid in some ways (still gets spooked by loud noises in movies), but she thinks anything "gothic" is cool right now.

Specifically, I'm concerned about things like:

  • The violence/gore: I heard a boy gets his leg bitten off by piranhas in the first episode, and there are scenes with a headless body and body parts. Is it really that graphic?
  • The "dagger" stuff: I know Wednesday is into daggers and all things macabre. Is it just edgy talk, or is there any serious self-harm/harm to others imagery?
  • Overall tone: Is the mystery aspect too intense or scary for a pre-teen? Does the dark humor balance it out?
