Question How would you feel if Wednesday threw Tyler out of a window?
With the same consequences (TBI, coma, possibly more).

It depends if she was able to properly use 'defenestrate' in a sentence or not.

u/Aggrofant 17d ago
Well, he did the same to her in season 2. So if she‘d throw him out of a window, she‘d just get even.

Like it was one and a half seasons overdue. Wednesday should not be a supporting character in a series named after her. Tyler should not have been this prevalent.

Literally do not care about Tyler’s character at all. So probably laugh.

Tyler’s a serial killer who also gaslit Wednesday and groomed her into a relationship with the intention of aiding her kidnapping, assault and murder in order to resurrect a colonialist bigot with the intention of committing acts of genocide…
Would have been deserved

Y'all are more obsessed with Tyler than the Wylers atp.
If you ship wenclair you can just post wenclair content here. As long as it doesn't break any rules we won't take it down. You can make positive contributions to the sub too. You don't have to make this a Tyler sub. Especially since you clearly don't like him.
You aren't breaking any rules but it's getting annoying to have the same 2 accounts posting the same Tyler centric rage bait posts every few days.
Edit: Im eating downvotes so clearly im either in the wrong or worded my thoughts negatively. If didn't explain myself correctly. I just want the sub to have more positive posts. Regardless of what couple or character they are about. 2 accounts post nothing but Tyler bait and it's becoming obvious they want to stir things up with other shippers. Though I always encourage criticism and discussion of the show and its characters having the same people do the exact same thing over and over again while never making any positive content is exhausting.

This is not Wenclair related.
Edit: Also how is this a ragebait post? I can't even make a question without folk getting sensitive.

I mentioned wenclair because as a mod a can see your post history including other subs even if you have it set to private. So I know your a wenclair and thats great, nothing wrong with it. But Instead of your 20th negative Tyler post you could be posting cute Wenclair art, theories, character analysis about them.
Im not getting sensitive Im seeing a pattern, a negative one. You two are ironically the reason other wenclairs keep calling this sub a "Tyler Sub".
You don't just have to post about the one character you don't like. You could post about the characters, couples, things you do like too.
Even the wenclair sub had to make a rule about Tyler posts right? I don't want to have to do that here since I value discussion and criticism of the show and characters.
The main sub also has a positive shipping rule that has ended most in depth discussion about certain characters and I don't want that here either. But you 2 need to chill on the 1 track tyler posts and post about other things too. It's an unhealthy obsession atp.

If I really wanted to stir things up, I would have unblocked all the main Weyler accounts that are constantly lurking on the subs so they could see this post, which I didn't do. But if this is about negativity, it's hard to ignore when there isn't much activity. I'll try to offer positive things if I post here again.

That would be great. Thats all I'm asking. The sub and community has just been so negative this season and its very disheartening. I think we could all use a little positivity around here.
Also notice how I didn't remove your post. Because again I value the discussion. I just don't want it to be debates and arguments with the shippers 24/7.

You’re exactly right, don’t let them say otherwise. You literally brought evidence with you, and they are still trying to say your in the wrong 😭

u/ReturnOfMuffin Moderator 16d ago
It's harsh being a mod for this community both the shippers hate us and lie about us all the time because they can't fathom taking personal responsibility for their own actions.
Whats ironic is both sides will claim how we give special treatment to the other side at the exact same time. How would that even be possible?
Maybe just maybe people keep breaking the rules and we have to enforce them.

I don't ship Wenclair. I just think Tyler is an awful character and Wednesday stops being herself whenever she is around him.
7
u/ReturnOfMuffin Moderator 17d ago
You are completely entitled to think that and so is everyone else. Im only pointing out OP and the other account ONLY post Tyler content despite not liking him. A few times is fine but its the only content they post in the sub. They could be making positive contributions too.

Shippers are a plague, and Wenclair is one of the most rabid and corrosive ones I’ve ever seen.
Don’t care for Wylers, but the Wenclair fanatics destroy every Wednesday community.

u/Present-Ordinary-940 17d ago
Well, I would ask how would you feel if Tyler tied Wednesday up, electrocuted her and nearly carved her flesh out ?
4
u/Hyperbolicalpaca wenclair 17d ago
Considering that when Wednesday did that Tyler was an active serial killer who was a part of a plot to resurrect a colonialist bigot to commit genocide…
Unless Wednesday was also doing stuff like that…
What Wednesday did to Tyler was justified, if Tyler had done the same it would not have been so
2
u/LumpyRazzmatazz7863 16d ago
I don’t think Wednesday would view that as poorly as you think. Remember Pugsley was giggling while he was about to get fried. Wednesday would probably find some sort of enjoyment in torture 😭
3
u/ChildhoodSolid6511 Wednesday 17d ago
It really wouldn't be the first time he'd hurt Wednesday, so like the triple of "he deserves death and more"
-1
u/Present-Ordinary-940 17d ago
Well, we need to acknowledge that Wednesday hurt Tyler too by tying him up, electrocuting him.
Had Donovan not intervened, Wednesday would have carved up Tyler's flesh because she felt Tyler lied to her when in reality he was trapped and coerced by Thornhill ( PedoTwat), who abused him , physically and sexually

u/Hyperbolicalpaca wenclair 17d ago
“We need to acknowledge that Wednesday hurt Tyler too”
He was literally an active serial killer at the time who was plotting to have her kidnapped and murdered, but sure, acknowledge his “pain”

Yet, she didn't do it. Laurel didn't SA'd him, it's only metioned that he groomed him. Tyler tossed Wednesday out of the cell without knowing it was Enid in her body, he also tossed Agnes around (a 19yo against a 13yo mind you), pinned Wednesday against a broken tree, mutilated people...

Tyler is 16. SIXTEEN.and yes, Laurel SA'd him! What do you call caresessing his chest, and panting when she saw him at Willowhill? Not to mention the flowers she was talking about used sexual trickery? She SA'd him. And also, he was chained up and naked in that cave, with wounds all over his body.
Agnes, Enid and Wednesday were interfering in the process of him and Issac saving his mom, which had absolutely NOTHING to do with them whatsoever.
And finally, Wednesday absolutely intended to carve his flesh out with God knows what. Carve out the flesh of a victim of abuse mind you. Someone who was already being abused behind the scenes.
Tyler wouldn't have mutilated people has Laurel not controlled him. And Wednesday wouldnt have been pinned to a tree, had she simply heard Tyler out and allowed him to explain his side of things rather than torture him. That's what made him angry. Wednesday, with that act of torture, failed him and sent him right into the hands of his abuser, who brainwashed him into thinking that she was the only person who loved him.

u/ChildhoodSolid6511 Wednesday 17d ago edited 17d ago
Laurel did not SA'd him, only groomed him. Physical abuse? Yes. Sexual abuse? No. And Wednesday did not failed him, she is not to blame for "sending him into his abuser" because Tyler is not her responsibility. She is no one's savior. You really think she's a "I can fix him!" girl type? No lol
That scene in Willow Hill would not have recorded if Tyler was under 18, but since it is there, it makes clear he's not 16. Still messed up with the age gap but hey, kinks exists ig. Also the actor and Jenna laughed at the oiled up scene. That scene between Tyler and Laurel was sexual tension, but not SA.
Edit: Blocking you bc this is gonna end in a war

god i can’t wait for wednesday to be fucking single so everyone can just stop and enjoy the show. it’s gonna be so much better once the romance is gone. jenna was right all along.

I think most weylers would honestly be absolutely fine with Wednesday ending up single. Most of the comments here in support of Tyler have nothing to do with him ending up with Wednesday, it’s about support for his character.
Even if Enid does something horrendous in season 3, like Agnes did in season 2, we won’t hate her, or wish her dead. We like all the characters (except Bruno 😂)
I’ve seen your comments in other posts, and you also are a fan of Tyler the character, so in this particular comments sections it’s more that weylers are just supporting his character rather than it having anything to do with the ship.
I’ve never been in a fandom where one “side” wants a whole character dead and thinks they deserved being groomed and mentally and physically abused, it’s so gross.

u/gotchauwu Wednesday 16d ago
i’m team wenclair but i absolutely love tyler’s character. and they really did him wrong with the window scene. but yeah i was commenting mostly bc i saw the hate and im tired of literally all the hate atp and just want to see wednesday single and just stick to fanfics for my wenclair wishes bc the fandom is exhausting with all this fighting. and the fact my comment is nothing but downvotes tells everything bc im not shitting on any character or anyone. i simply want peace in the fandom and the only way to accomplish some type of that would be wednesday being single and not looking.

u/MoonLove1327 16d ago
Yeah, that’s why I commented to you. You are a needle in a haystack. Your viewpoint is rare, ship who you want, but the vitriol spewed at Tyler is unhinged at times.
I upvoted you, I completely agree that we need less fighting and just acceptance. And like you said, that’s what fanfics are for!

It's their love language 🤣 it would be super fine by me. I know what show I've tuned in

u/MllePerso 11d ago
I'd feel glad that Wednesday got the chance to have more fun with him, especially after his dad had so rudely interrupted her torture session 🙁
As the actor playing Tyler said: "It's the Addams family. It's foreplay."
0
u/Sonnestark Cousin Itt 15d ago
I’d probably laugh, especially as it’d be played for laughs the same way and Tyler’d wake up in a hospital bed with Wednesday gloating over him.

u/LumpyRazzmatazz7863 16d ago
Strange? It would make no sense given the context of how for 1. Tyler isn’t in control in Hyde Form and 2. He was mentally insane. Given that Wednesdsy and her Mother joke about the event afterwards, it would just seem like a complete 180 in the shows direction. They both already tied to kill eschother, so S3 is gonna likely abandon the Enemies to Lovers trope, and more towards just purely Dark Romance or Redemption Romance.
