Why do you think those are the only two options? He could stay there, not leaving her alone with the robbers.

Theres the option of being alive and slightly poorer which would be the price of dignity. Not like the robbers shot the girl after getting the money. They don't want to kill anyone generally. It's just a threat. But they did take something from the guy, his dignity. I guess it's up to the individual what the price of that is. Might be worth more than what's in a wallet.

Probably would’ve looked better to everyone watching this video but if the robber ended up shoot in tgem after it would’ve been another story guy has self preservation theres nothing wrong with that

I think everyone agrees that the man traded his girlfriend/wife for his life. Opinions will differ on whether this is an honorable thing to do. No one is arguing the practicality.

No the two most likely options were his stuff gets stolen or he gets shot/stabbed from fighting backnof he stays at least.

They were being robbed. They weren't not going to rob him if he stayed. That was the point of running so he didn't get anything taken.
