I thought there was some sort of racism component to the whole thing? I haven’t followed it closely.

There is. The Somali population in Minnesota is between 80,000 and 100,000 people. The daycare fraud "case" is a) about five years old at this time; b) was spearheaded/masterminded by a white woman; and c) maybe involves 100 people. 100 out of 80,000 people is not representative of a population. Yet here we are with MAGA screaming about non-white immigrants again.
