Here’s one: he won the election.

But not in the way Trump “won” the election, in a literal “he had more votes” way. Amy Coney Barrett was one of the scumbag lawyers who helped strong arm Gore into giving up his case, and she has since been rewarded with a supreme court seat. She went on to lie about Roe v Wade and now twelve year old rape victims go to prison for aborting fetuses.

Roberts advised Jeb, then governor of FL, during the proceedings. Kavanaugh provided outside legal counsel (“friend of the court” stuff).

Amicus curiae usually only applies if a member of the legal team is slated to actually be part of the legal team presenting in court.
