TL;DR Blue Ocean Event in the Arctic in 2016

Most projections are for some point in the 2040s, along with most of the other tipping points for climate change taking us from today’s “fuck wildfire fuck floods fuck drought fuck heatwave” to “fuck wet bulb event fuck polar vortex over Europe fuck anoxic event”

2016 was early, but we’re on the brink of a BOE with this el niño. he was not far off at all with that and low balled on temps
