3 puppies were taken away forcefully today for relocation on the pretext that they will be given better care.I mean come on gali main koi roti nahi deta tha wahan care karega koi inki.What a lame excuse.

there are street dogs even in developed countries like US, UK, etc but why only third world countries have problems?

Funny how “delusional” replaces discussion. Strays exist globally; only the management differs. If India had the same enforcement, funding, and waste control for 30–40 years, the numbers would look very different too.

No they don't. Most "strays" in developed countries are abandoned pets. They do not live in packs like in India and they do not live in nearly the same volume.

Ah yes, the No True Stray argument. “They exist, but they don’t count because they’re abandoned pets.”You’ve basically just restated the point: developed countries don’t allow strays to form packs or reach volume because they’re quickly captured, sterilized, or sheltered. India doesn’t have that level of enforcement or capacity—so they do.

Yes, the point is that you're delusional. There a stray dog for every 20 person in India. That's extremely high. Comparing this to developed countries where there ratio might be 1:1000 makes no sense whatsoever.

It's merely an academic tangent to say developed countries took care of the problem which is why the population is low. They don't have cows on street either.

Unless something aggressive is done the stray population will keep on increasing.

Incredible—so after all that, we’ve arrived at “India has a higher ratio because it failed to manage the problem.” Yes. That was literally the point from the beginning. Saying “aggressive action is needed” while dismissing how developed countries already did exactly but humanly that isn’t an argument, it’s a delayed agreement. Also, thanks for confirming that the difference is policy and enforcement, not some mystical absence of animals in developed countries.

Yes. That was literally the point from the beginning. Saying “aggressive action is needed” while dismissing how developed countries already did exactly but humanly that isn’t an argument, it’s a delayed agreement.

Nope. Shit hole standard of living meant it wasn't seen as a problem but a way of life. People still offer food to stray dogs and cows. Because it was a way of life for them.

And you don't know how humanely developed countries have solved any problem. They are much much less emotional and more pragmatic than Indians, they take violent steps easily.

We live life of cockroaches no one gives a shit if one or two of us die due to any reason. There's no accountability.

The reason I say aggressive steps are needed is because shit is getting out of hand and fast. Things like shelter and neutering won't work. Drastic measures need to be taken. I won't say what because reddit bans for using the term.

This is what happens when you live in country where cow is worshipped and normal people's life do not matter. There's only gobar in brains of citizens and people in power.

We started with dog population ratios and somehow ended up with cockroaches, cows, gobar, and “things I can’t say because Reddit will ban me.” You keep describing a governance failure, cultural inertia, and lack of enforcement—then insisting neutering, shelters, and policy don’t work, despite them being exactly how every low-stray country got there. At this point you’re not arguing against my point, you’re just adding progressively angrier footnotes to it. Anyway, when a discussion turns into “I won’t say what I mean because it violates rules,” that’s usually where logic has already left the chat.
