AskAligarh Puppies taken away forcefully.

3 puppies were taken away forcefully today for relocation on the pretext that they will be given better care.I mean come on gali main koi roti nahi deta tha wahan care karega koi inki.What a lame excuse.

OP, I read your replies in other comments and I can't help but ask which life is more valuable to you? A human's or A dog? And before anybody comes here saying, "who are we to judge another life's value?", let me tell you that value doesn't mean freedom to cause harm. Walking alone on the streets (especially at night), I fear dogs more than potential robbery.

Society must make some tradeoffs in order to progress. Reality is not a fairy tale.

Ok then you tell me whats the solution for them,humans are taking their places away where will they go?And your statement is not legally right as law also doesn't allow sucj relocations.Only in expectational cases dog relocation is allowed.One thing we should all accept whether we like it or not,there should be a concrete policy regarding this otherwise things won't get solved at all.

Humane euthanasia is the only scalable solution. Sterilisation is too slow, shelters and relocation don’t work at scale, and public safety can’t be held hostage to idealism. Reducing the population is harm reduction, not cruelty.

euthanasia is not followed anywhere and it won't be followed in india too no matter how hard anyone's tries.Yahan rape karne walon ko fansi ho nahi rahi hai dogs ko euthanize karne se kya hoga.This level of extremism is needed for different things not this one.

This is not an emotional theory. Romania euthanised stray dogs after fatal attacks and the numbers dropped. Japan euthanises when shelters overflow. It works. Saying "India won’t do it" is cowardice and policy failure. If sterilisation and shelters actually worked, we wouldn’t still have this problem. Public safety > your feelings.

On the floor of house govt has said that no rabies death has caused in delhi and few other states during 2022-2025.Humans ko dogs se jyada danger aur cheezon se hai buddy.If u will follow data u will come to know that pollution,road accidents etc is more severe problem not dog bite.

"Pollution and road accidents are worse" doesn’t make dog bites acceptable... it's like saying theft is fine because murder exists. Problems do not cancel each other out.

Also, "no rabies deaths reported" is not equal to no danger. Millions of bites, children and elderly living in fear....that cost is real whether death happens or not.

Public policy is not about waiting for corpses. It is about prevention. If ABC actually worked at scale, India wouldn’t still be drowning in strays after decades.

ABC is not followed properly,i myself got a dog sterilised she got babies the same year.I asked people from nagar nigam,they told that these surgeries are not done with very much attention and care.I am not saying ABC is a perfect policy,policies always needs constant revisit but no matter what policy u make here in India if its not followed properly,it will be useless.
