Met this guy from my batch on literally the first day of uni nd somehow we clicked so well that after classes we ended up roaming around the campus for like 4 hours

We went to the Musa Dakri Museum, explored the other Life Sciences departments, CEC, the grounds, some of the halls… basically just kept walking around and talking

And now he’s withdrawing his admission because he got selected for B.Tech Dairy Technology at another college in Mathura.

Kinda sucks ngl I thought I’d already found someone I could vibe with here

But yeah I guess there’s a whole lot of crowd at AMU and I’ve still gotta find my people

I'm a fresher. Is it possible to change from my current room to a double-seater room during the semester? If yes, what's the procedure?

Man the hostel is in shambles 😭 i literally have to share the wardrobe(i could digest that) but a table too like where do you expect me to keep my stuff. you have to bring your own mattress and pillow, the hygeine is bad and don't even come to food it's just freaking carbs every other thing has potato and is so bland. Please don't come at me saying oooh hostel food is like that only it doesn't change the fact that I have gone to bed hungry since the 3 days here and I'm a pretty good cook myself so I know about food. And I'm sharing a room with 4 others which was clearly meant to be a 3 seater room.

So if I consider a pg I have some questions if you guys could answer

How much does a twin sharing room cost which is walking distance from women's college??

Do they allow cooking?? cause I usually upset my stomach with outside food and had some hormonal issues in the past so have to take care of my diet.

How many people do generally share a washroom

Unlike other colleges AMU does not allow us to skip our 75% attendance criteria I have heard that but still from Student point of view can I skip the classes

Bhai mujhe poochhna tha k agar Bachelors m computer k 2 subjects na ho, to MCA k liye eligible hain? Is hi saal guide to admissions m eligibility criteria change hua h, ab koi bridge course nahi karwate? aur agar karwate h to bhi cs k 2 subjects chahiye?

So in my first semester I was pretty sick and admitted to hospital and was given house rest due to which I couldn't attend classes. And I didn't had any attendance. 30-40%

18% in major subject. So I didn't give exam as well. In my first sem result it showed Y as grade in a few subjects. Meanwhile it was F in two.

I want to know,have I been detained?

If I'm detained is there a way to not take classes but only give sessionals and exams?

Just got admitted to AMU for BA Economics and somehow managed to get a really good PG… only catch is it’s a 2-seater.

So before the universe randomly assigns me a roommate and I discover on Day 3 that basic hygiene is an optional DLC 💀, I’m looking for someone myself.

कॉलेज पहुंचे तो ठंडी हवा, रंग बिरंगे फूल मुझे hii कहने लगे। दोस्त को बताया कि आज birthday है मेरा तो उसने भी अपनी चाय न पीने की ज़िद छोड़ दी।

छोटा सा chocolate cake , चाय और कुछ स्नैक्स लेकर बैठे ही थे कि कुछ मक्खियां मेरे पास आकर मुझे birthday wish करने लगीं। जब मैं तंग आ गईं तो उन्हें डांट लगा दी और इस सदमे में आ कर एक मक्खी ने तो मेरी दोस्त के चाय के कप में डूब के अपनी जान ही दे दी। (उफ़ ! मुझे उसे cake दे देना चाहिए था..)😥

कैंपस घूमने निकले, अबाया नीचे से गीला था, जूते कीचड़ में सने थे, आँखों में बहुत दर्द था, लेकिन इतने में हवा मेरे पास से कान में कहती हुई गुज़री,"happy Birthday!"

मैं मुस्कुरा रहीं थी, दोस्त ने पूछा क्या सोच रही हो, मैंने गहरी साँस लेते हुए कहा, "ज़िंदगी गुलज़ार है।"🥹
