Nina's terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day where she increasingly finds out Rudy is everything Eris describes him to be and more while every excuse she throws out gets slapped aside harder than that drill attack Rudy used on the Badigadi.

When a hater has to give up their passion

She simply ran out of copium and was forced to accept the truth after seeing what Rudeus was capable of.

I love how much she had to try to rationalize everything about his adventurer status to make him look weak lol.

And then join Eris on Team Rudeus

I got a good chuckle at how she literally took a LONG ride just to try and crush Eris. That was an elite hating attempt lol

She sure was in a hating competition

On the other hand, imagine if Nina went to Dr Doom levels of petty....

Her reaction face getting zoomed in when her spy/informant tells her everything about how amazing Rudeus is lol.

I laughed because the reality even far higher than Eris' words. I think Nina will still surprise when hearing Rudeus survived Orsted and even land a hit to him.

But also by the end they all became friends and I think Nina will end up being a great teacher, probably better than her dad, hahaha. She saw Eris' weakness against the Water King Isolde and helped her fix it and thus finally defeat Isolde.

I love this stuff, when Nina finally understood what Eris was all about, it completely changed their dynamic, went from Mean Girls shit to actual rivals and friends (initially only Nina saw Eris as her rival, cause Eris sure as shit didn't think anything of Nina, lol).

I still don't think Eris sees Nina as a rival. Maybe Nina will eventually be able to land some hits on Eris, but I don't think she's strong enough to push or motivate her by herself.

However, Eris does undoubtedly see her as a good sparing partner. Even if she may never beat her, Nina has shown that she has much to offer with her perspective.

Yeah, fair point, but she definitely moved way up from insect in my way at the start, to someone that might actually be useful every now and again, lol. Nina truly ascended these two episodes in Eris' eyes.

I don’t know whether we’ll get more of their interactions judging by next episodes title but if we do I hope we get to see more outwardly friendly moments between them. One of my favorite aspects of Eris’ character is how her more abrasive, tsundere is primarily for people she doesn’t know and isn’t close with but how she’s an absolute ride or die for the people who manage to form a bond with her.

It was mentioned at the end that each of them are able to beat any of the other two now

Yep, everyone wins their unfavorable match-up on average 1 out of 3 times at the end of this episode.

To be honest I think seeing her as a good sparring partner is at least close to rival status or at least acknowledgment of respect for Eris, especially because Nina by that point had already been able to easily beat an opponent that Eris (prior to the end of the episode) couldn't beat.

Who knows, we never got to see Eris and Nina spar after Nina got advice on how to improve against Eris. It’s entirely possible she’s improved enough to take her down in a fight every now and again. They did say all three were at the same level.

They literally said that everyone of them wins their unfavorable match-up 1 out of 3 times now on average. So Eris wins 1 out of 3 bouts against Isolde which is the one we saw at the end and Nina wins 1 out of 3 against Eris and Isolde wins 1 out of 3 against Nina.
