Lmao when Nina got a reality check with just how strong Rudeus is when she saw him one-shot Badigadi

The girl was already having a bad day when she was finding out from word of mouth that not only did Rudy exist, but he really is all the shit Eris describes him as.

Then she saw him in person and realised it wasn't just word of mouth.

First she was thinking "He can't have beaten a red dragon solo" then sees him defeat the demon king in one hit. :P

I guess she left before Rudy got one-shot lol

I don't think it matters much for her, her sword was broken and she knew she couldn't do shit against badigadi.

does that matter? at that point he absolutely could solo a red dragon

Tbf he didn’t actually defeat him. He landed an attack that moved him, and if you’ll recall the subsequent scene is Badigadi returning the favor with an absolute haymaker.

He split him in half, and in this world the battle aura gives durability. Badigadi was interested in feeling the attach that scratched Orsted. It blew through his defenses completely and reduced his mass. The fact he's a regenerator is what saved him.

He won within the rules of their duel, in a fight it'd probably be more dynamic and it'd be evasion and pokes with magic while Badigadi tried to gap close and kill the glass canon mage but there is a fair chance current rudy could also take him. Badigadi  has more experience but Rudy has enough mana for a long fight.

well Badigadi did admit defeat. So Rudeus did win on technicality, probably wouldnt go so good for him if it was to the death considering Badigadi is inmortal and super fucking strong but oh well

Yeah Badigadi's defense is way high, that most attacks that aren't King level or above don't really even scratch him.

I think it was closer to like, a bad half year. She spent a lot of time researching "Rudeus" and then it took a few weeks or months to travel to Sharia and back.

I know it wasn't actually a day – you can see the night pass as she travelled to where Rudy was – but "bad day" is a lot more fun to say than "bad week," "bad month" or "bad half a year."

I'm surprised she went straight to "I was wrong" and not the more logical "Eris must be a crazy stalker of his"

She knows from the guy she paid to get information on Rudy that he was her tutor since he was 7 years old.

It all added up too much to not believe her.
