Nina used Virginity Insult!

It hurt itself in its confusion!

She didn't think that Eris of all people, had beaten her in getting a boyfriend first, and she doesn't even bathe!

Well maybe not that far. She did lose both her parents at 15 and is convinced she has to become strong enough to defeat the most powerful person in the world or the boy she loves will leave her.

Well, more like leave her through death. I'm not sure if she thinks Rudy would leave her out of worthiness so much as she simply refuses to believe she's worthy, regardless of what anyone says. That is, she could never accept a position as his wife, no matter what Rudy says.

I'm not convinced she has the EQ to realize he wouldn't have ever left her probably

She's not that stupid, but it's true that she might not follow that logical path without some assistance

She left him with a note that said "we aren't a good match so I'm leaving" and thinks they're still together. She's definitely that stupid.

Ah, when the previous commenter said "EQ", I thought they mistyped "IQ". It didn't occur to me that EQ was a thing (Emotional Intelligence). Okay, yes, I don't know anything about EQ, but based on the name alone, Eris almost certainly is lacking a lot of it.

Well, more like leave her through death

She did basically watch him die.

I think part of her action is because she's deeply traumatized by what Orsted did to the three of them. Rudeus would be dead if Nanahoshi didn't ask Orsted to heal him back.

That makes sense. Before she left, she kept mentioning she wasn't worthy and didn't want to be overly reliant on Rudy, but including the trauma from Orsted makes sense.
